I must say though, that is a breathtakingly beautiful truck. Mines a 1961 apache 20 3/4 ton 2wd. 3/4 cam, rebuilding engine right now. Hope it looks half as good as that soon. Nice job.
Hate to break it to you but there is no such thing as a 1962 apache. They were made from 57 or 58 to 1961. I have a 1961 and a lot of experience with it so that is where I got this conclusion. I also have a gm original shop manual.
