i see so many posts regarding salaries between dentists and doc it depends on your speciality of course i think family practice md are believed to be the lowest paid md comparing to them to a dentist maybe but if you are comparing to a radiologist or cardiologist gi specialist no way a dentist get paid more..regarding respect and level of education there is no camparison an MD will out surpass an dentist any day.i dont remember anytime a dentist helped save a life!

CASE IN POINT - I took someone who was suffering from stomach problems a while back and after running almost 10 different types of "tests" nothing had been done.

Every 10 years the doctors may/should/can re-take the board exam to be re-certified board MD. My father took the test 2 months ago to be re-certified. He said there were only 5 other doctors there to take the test with him. He doesn't need to be re-certified because his patients don't care i'm sure if he's certified or not because they love him as their doctor. Maybe that's why a lot of doctors don't care to be re-certerfied by the board?

what the hell are you talking about..radiologists make well over 600k a year, neurologists, cardiologists are around that range as well. Emergency medicine physicians make around 190k after residency, and the list goes on. It all depends on the percentile you are considered to be ranked at..I feel bad for you if the best doctor you know makes 90k a year or you need to get more educated on the topic, wait, you're probably a dentist, nevermind

well it all depends if you want retail or hospital. Right now I'm an intern at walgreens, it gets annoying dealing with ppl who complain about the prices of the drugs but it's not our fault their insurance sucks. Anways, but there are other fields like nuclear pharmacy, clinical, pharmacotherapy and all that good stuff. The one that pays the most is retail, but the one that is more rewarding as a professional is clinical.
