I served in Vietnam at the same time as McCain and I served under the command of Admiral McCain, his father and CINCPACFLT, after hearing the Admiral's speeches I came to the conclusion that he was an entirely different type of Republican than his son and would NOT likely have voted for him. Compare the views of Dwight Eisenhower and George BUSH for an example.
We all know that Obama is a liar and we can see how wrong most of the networks were and are about Obama. Even liberals know he's a liar, they just don't care as long as he's spreading the wealth! I'm talking about deliberate deception, like "nobody's talking about government takeover of healthcare," and "I'm not going to raise taxes one dime for anybody making less than $250,000, and transparency, no lobbying, no earmarks, promises to reduce the deficit, etc. Lie after lie after lie.

Anyone who thinks that what people like Andrea Mitchell and Keith Olbermann deliver is "news" are not worth having a discussion. They are owned by the people who Obama installed as our fuhrer and nothing they say can be given any credence.
McCain should have checked "Joe the Plumber" out before associating with yet another questionable character.
During the 3rd & Final Presidential Debate Mr McCain mentioned "Joe the Plumber" 19 times, citing him as the "Epitome of Aspirational, Hard-Working Americans" in his opposition to higher taxes proposed by Senator Barack Obama.
BUT JOE Wurzelbacher DOES NOT have a Plumber's License & owes nearly $1,200 (£690) in Back Taxes. LOL
Plumbers license is not required where he lives. McCain makes reference to Joe the Plumber and you call McCain guilty by association yet Obama has a free pass on william ayres and accorn huh?
issanel:Joe stated "he works for someone else, he doesn't need a license. BUT the county Joe Wurzelbacher & his Employer Al Newell live in, Lucas County, REQUIRES Plumbers TO HAVE LICENSES. Neither JOE NOR HIS EMPLOYER ARE LICENSED THERE, said Cheryl Schimming of Lucas County Building Regulations.
Every Worker in the US should be allowed to make their own rules then if Joe thinks he can for himself & then be considered by McCain as the "Epitome of Aspirational, Hard-Working Americans"
Please tell me what is your definition of a crime? You claim that Obama is not repsonsible for Ayers because they are not friends even though they have had fund raisers endorcments worked together. But McCain is guilty because Joe the Plumber supports him and he owes a little over a thousand dollars? The difference is Obama knows Ayers past. How are we profiting from Iraq? Oil prices are at record high when the companies proft margin are at a historic low for any buisness.
If we had taken oil from iraq then the prices wouldnt be this high. The reason oil prices are as they are is because dems wont let us drill on US soil.
Republican goes to war based on UN findings with the support of democrats and that makes it 100% Bush's fault. A democrat bombs his own country and is a hero.
and yes, the democrats were too pussy to vote 'no' on the war. they have to accept the blame for caving in, but the republicans need to accept the blame for orchestrating that catastrophe and butting heads with everyone when they're "brilliant" plan went tits up.

If Joe has the right to be a plumber without a license then ALL AMERICAN Workers should have the same rights too. After all, Joe's not the only hard working American except he thinks he's got more rights than any other American worker. McCain acknowledged it too. The govt. should check his wife's taxes.
All I am wondering about is why do you condemn McCain for talking about Joe and praise Ayers? You hold double standards, Obama can do no wrong and republicans can do no right. Who is the person of greed here? You have said that money is more important then lives.
well, for starters, it's idiotic for McCain to used a registered republican who voted in their primary under the false misconception that he was undecided.
Apparently you didn't even really watch this video. Fact-checking reveals there isn't and wasn't much of a relationship. Even if it was a relevant point, McCain has the association of Gordon Liddy, his own domestic terrorist.
Did you listen to what I said? No canidate is without their faults, but Gordon was convicted and punished. Ayers has never appologized only to say that he was proud of what he did. "Free as a bird, guilty as hell" -Ayers
Obama's loose ties with Ayers is nothing compared to McCain's buddy relationship with Liddy, etc.
Ayers was the Citizen of the Year in Chicago (1997) and is a respected professor. McCain should look in the mirror & see the reflection of his own questionable associations.
G. Gordon Liddy: Charges> Conspiracy, burglary, illegal wiretapping
McCain said. "I happen to be one who admires "Scooter LIBBY." WHAT? The jury convicted him too> Obstruction of justice, Perjury, making false statements.
Have you no sense of justice? or is it only when it suits your political ambitions? What is worse, a liar and theif who pays for his crimes? Or a bomber who admitedly guilty, and proud of his work with the one regret that he didnt do more.
issanel: BUT Obama's loose ties with Ayers means nothing compared to McCain's relationship with Liddy, etc. LIDDY WAS CONVICTED/ AYERS WAS NOT! WHY? Discuss that with the US Federal Judicial System if you are troubled by Their Judgment. Whatever Ayers was guilty of in the 1960's & 1970's was apparently Dismissed. "In 1973, the Federal government requested the dismissal of the charges against the couple in the interest of National Security following accusations of government misconduct.
issanel: Sense of Justice? Ayers was the Citizen of the Year in Chicago (1997) & is considered a respected professor now. Obama has nothing to do with Ayer's professional status & being Citizen of the Year. Apparently many people in Chicago have different views of Ayers in which that's their right too. Obama's Presidential Campaign has nothing to do with Ayers now nor does he associate with him now. Why wasn't it ever brought to light when Obama was elected as Senator if it's so important?
You are holding two senerios here one Ayers is a bad guy which Obama has nothing to do with the second Ayers is a good guy and was the citizen of the year. Which do you want me to argue? Hitler was loved by his people and was never convicted of a crime, does that make him not guilty? How do you define friendship, Ayers was a man who obama seeked support with reguarding his presidentail aspirations. Ayers also held fundraisers for him.
See the interview of the army sargent that is an advocate for troops rights. In their scorecard rating, McCain received a "D" and Obama received a "B". McCain voted against body armour twice this past year, for example, and also, of course denies that PTSD is a viable affliction (which he clearly has).
For the record, Joe Biden got a "B+". Funny, not sure where Moose-a-Lini was on this one.
Tucker Bounds is such a lightweight, he is a sad but accurate symbol of the types of people McCain has chosen to surround himself in this campaign. I am an Independent, and Indies will decide this election. Obama has impressed me with the campaign he has run, and the people he has surrounded himself with. McCain has a bunch of flunkies and Rove wannabees. McCain's advisers are stupid, he is stupid for listening to them, and that is why he is losing.
Yes, Tucker Bounds is repulsive, although not as nauseating as Pfotenhauer. Check out some of the vids with Austan Goolsbee, Obama's economic advisor.
Surrealistic talking points--Obama did not misrepresent his relationship with Ayers, and how interesting is it that the McCain campaign, which is actually advocating state terrorism against Iran, is condemning Obama for associating with someone like Ayers.
Most older Americans in our living rooms remember the Vietnam war and some of us still resent the fact that John McCain dropped bombs on Vietnam in our name. Can McCain say none of his bombs killed innocent civilians? Ayers and McCain were equally misguided in the judgment of many of us. Now McCain is engaging in the very tactic that dishonors the freedoms and values he claims to have fought for. Nobody wins wars of aggression these days have you noticed?
Mccain fought for his country! Bill Ayers bombed buildings on his own accord and whacked out liberal beliefs......There is no comparism......Obama keeps defending himself saying he was only 8 years old, which is not the question, why is Obama as an adult choosing to engage himself with a known terrorist? Obama seems to have inspired by, to me, are those who carry the wrong values of a good honest American.....He will never get my vote!
How do you feel about McCain's relationship with mobster and murderer Joseph Bonanno, whom McCain called a friend, and sent a birthday card saying "I wish you a long and prosperous life"?
Obama was never a friend to Ayers. They were in the same room working, lived in the same neigbourhood. All of a sudden they are considered "friends" by the right. That's laughable. I'm sure you're responsible for all the actions that people at your work does. I mean you spend several hours a day at work with your coworkers. Shouldn't you be linked to any bad actions they do, if they happen to do them?
Find me someone active in politics 40 years ago, liberal or conservative, that did NOT have more-than-casual ties to some domestic terrorist organization. Whether it be Weather Underground, the Symbionese Liberation Army, The John Birch Society, the Ku Klux Klan, or scores of others.
The McCain campaign is so desperate. This strategy has claw marks all over it, as they are simply scraping the bottom of the barrel. How McCain or Palin can possibly live with themselves and not throw up at their own reflection is beyond me. Rather, they both seem smirkingly satisfied. Appalling.
Because this current crisis is just the latest Republican failure.
We have Bush, McCain, and the Republicans to also thank for
the largest deficits in history, the most mortgage defaults since the depression, the biggest income gap since the 20s, crashing markets, fleeing jobs, no energy policy, a $700 billion dollar war, 7000 dead, and Bin Laden still out there.
8 years of Bush and 12 years of Republicans produced these disasters.
Incredibly well said Oregon. They're desperate to win, so they're trying to come up with anything they can try and use against Obama. This level of desperation is highly Obvious and it's rather ridiculous considering how low the republicans stooped just to try and gain the upper hand on the election. The true colors of the McCain campaign are showing. And I believe those colors are now at it's finest in regards to being hypocritical and false.
Hitler conservative? Well, using the same reasoning, Stalin (who was guilty of tens of millions of death in the Soviet Union in the 1930's and 40's) was a liberal.
Stalin's Russia and Hitler's Germany rejected all liberal ideas. They tried to subordinate everything to the State. Basic human rights were subjected to brutality and to terror.
Not true. Stalin believed in nationalization of public resources (including banks and all industries), the government insured every citizen had a job, they worked for a classless society (no affluent people, except for communist party insiders), government provided a safety net for all, free education (albeit limited to party members), etc. Communism has proven to be an ultra-liberal form of tyranny - liberal underpinnings, but taken farther. Fascism is the equivalent on the right.
Yes, lefties can abuse human rights, just like those on the right. Point is, there is nothing inherently better about liberalism as opposed to conservatism. It's the power structure that either promotes tyranny or limits it (e.g., checks and balances) in each case.
that is the dumbest fucking Idea I have ever heard. Welcome to the world were there are more types of people than just liberals and conservatives retarded fuck.
Liberals Believe in free market, and the ability for a man or woman to support them self with out depending on others.
Communist believe of the controlled social and economy dependence from the goverment.
So let see freedom or dependence of others???
basic facts, now do some silly research your self or just find the synonyms of Communist and Liberal and well even on language they are different let alone the actual manifestos of each believe.
You know, it is kind of amusing that the right is freaking out about how "liberal" Obama is. Hell, Edwards is far more liberal than Obama in terms of health care and even HE can't get to the level of Canada. Obama has a long way from Holland. McCain, on the other hand, is being more Bush than Bush.
Stalin's political beliefs place him almost always on the far right. He advocated racism over racial tolerance, eugenics over freedom of reproduction, competition over cooperation, power politics and militarism over pacifism, dictatorship over democracy, capitalism over Marxism, nationalism over internationalism, exclusiveness over inclusiveness, and pragmatism over principle.
Stalin used the rhetoric of socialism and Marxism to justify a different reality--an exploitative system, run by a minority, using forms of authority not that very different to capitalism in the West.
Interesting - you're redefining right and left to match your own personal political & philosophical views about what defines liberalism. As a former Democratic Socialist, it was the pervasive intolerance by those on the left for anyone that thinks differently that eventually drove me away. Some of what you state above is true, but Stalin never advocated capitalism or Marxism, for example. He was an internationalist, its just he believed the international community should be under his control
I stand by my prior assertion that there are extreme forms of left and right (i.e., communism and fascism). Basically, both right and left can go to far, and when they do, there's massive human rights abuses. Merely redefining left wing dictators as not "liberal" does not make them any less left wing. Same holds true for the right. Look into issues like the North American Union and Council on Foreign Relations - the elite of right AND left working to subvert our sovereignty and avg. citizens
My account should be reinstated in about a week. One of the websites, x17agency, who said I copyrighted already wrote back to me saying they won't pursue it.

LIBERAL = COMMUNISM???
What the fuck are you talking about???
that is the dumbest fucking Idea I have ever heard. Welcome to the world were there are more types of people than just liberals and conservatives retarded fuck.

Gallomex - You didn't support you argument with any facts. You say liberals and commies are not bedfellows? Some supporting facts, please.

ThePatriotsMaxims 3 years ago
