@Pimpzilla300 ive owned leatherman wave and just bought a powerlock, i have to say that i like the Sog better because i mainly use the pliers, and the power sogs are the best in the world until someone else does better. but the leatherman had a bettter blade. there is always comprimise but as far as quality goes they are both great but sogs lifetime warranty gets the upperhand over leathermans 25 yr
There are several verities of Multi-tool out there now, personally, whenever I hear " Multi-tool" I immediately think of " Leatherman", not 'cause I think it's better, it's a case of " word association " I suppose, but I think with so many to chose from ( leaving out the real cheap ) You have to look to the little details that make the tool work best for you, like Gunny said, the file, the saw blade cutting blade options, opening & closing etc etc That makes the choice a very close call. 5X5
the sog multitool blade is not that good and the swiss army can opener is a lot better im not saying the sog is bad but the elsener family has been in the game senses the 1800s and they have been proven many times over with a lifetime warranty im just saying they make the mt for me

I like my Victorinox for daily carry cause of its appearance, however on a long trip having something like this wouldn't be a bad idea I guess.
Are the Leathermans and SOG equal in terms of multitools? Greatly appreciated.
