My lips pour out puss whenever it gets peeled off or too much contact with food on my lips happens. All I can use is lip ointment. Regular chap lips get me back to square 1 :D
R u cured? Btw, I suffer from exfoliative cheilitis, wich my dermotologist said it was eczema. My lips peel every 3 to 4 days and when coming in contact with water, they turn white. Do u hav the same symptoms? Thanx!
Gahh. I've always had lip eczema. And I just realized that I have this yesterday. It's such a pain, and right now.. My lips is swelled up and its so itchy and it hurts. It's sooooo red, and my Burts Bees is not working, nor Vaseline. I don't know how to make the redness go away.
I have eczema, and my lips are always dry too. What's weird for me though, is that Vaseline doesn't work on my lips! It feels so greasy, and it doesn't help at all.
I have eczema and I never knew that, it makes more sense now cause I ALWAYS have chapped lips the only things that have worked for me are"Yes To Carrots" and Rose Slave but I hate how Vaseline(it works too) taste, but thanks I'll try this cause in the in the winter my lips aren't only chapped but they burn : (
Thanks lyss for the review. I have eczema and had chapped lips so badly that my lip was cracked and bleeding. After I saw this video I bought and used the chapstick 100% naturals lip butter. In 3 days my lip healed and my lips aren't chapped. Yay!
I've always used mineral oil or lip glosses with mineral oil as the first ingredient. It stays on longer than vaseline and looks better. Mineral oil is clear, and the lip glosses with it as the first ingredient are usually clear too. Try them and see what you think.
Yikes no. Remember she has Eczema and I do too. One of the first cautions that my doctor instructed after finding out that I had Eczema was to specifically not use things with mineral oil, lotions, shampoo, etc. Also mineral oil is commonly found in lotions for extreme dry skin probably because it stays on long.
I tend to avoid excema as long as I avoid strong fragrances and also botanicals. For me the less ingredients, the better. Vitamins are ok for me. I'd like to try baby balm by Dr. Bronner's with beeswax sometime because it has no fragrance or botanicals. It's just expensive though.
It worked wonders for me, I have tried that but not the butter one I tried the one u wouldn't recommend that minty one, ya no good hehe. But the cherry one was ok, but try it out burt's check out the reviews, i find it works amazing on my lips! :D
Where did you get the chapstick at? None of the stores around me have it

what about the Blistex Gentle Sense? :D supposed to be hypoallergenic or something, it has no scent or flavor, and like no irritants and stuff :O
