  • @zero198033 Check out P.O.S - Bleeding Heats Club top comment. Ur ignorance would probly argue that one too.

  • the 1% elite population should listen to this song :) "try to relate" :0

  • <3

  • This shit is WEAK!!

  • @ZERO198033 like you'd know whats hard son. dudes spittin truth.

  • @BaltimorePride Bitch, the only "HARD" thing you know is hitting your head on the concrete while skate-boarding in the suburbs of Baltimore. It's easy when your mom could purchase you all the boarding shit and you have a savings from them for you to go to college. I'm a first generation American born from immigrant parents right out of a war torn jungle, whose got no sort of education. I am fortunate to be where I am. But this shit is still weak!!

  • @ZERO198033 I am a n4th generation American which means i dont have shit to complain bout, but that beign said i work with plently of "immigrants" who work a shit ton harder than most they see the big picture, and never complain about the goverment or taxes..... more than u can say about most of my Democrate and GOP friends

  • @ZERO198033 vegetables

  • @rumpLstillkickin yes POS is.

  • @ZERO198033 are you a vegetarian? is that what this is all about?

  • @ZERO198033 what is better? (seriosly, I like hearing music that is new to me)

  • @IsaacKarjala You want to know what is better? Try listening to Yelawolf, that cat is fire with vibe that'll blow P.O.S. (Piece of Shit) out of the water.

  • @ZERO198033 Hahahahahaha Yelawolf makes my ears literally hurt. I get stomach aches when I listen to his music.

  • @ZERO198033 your a fuckin idiot, real shit. even yelawolf would admit he's got nothing on this

  • @Wizzle12 And you're the genius. Maybe you need me to lay a Piece Of Shit on you, so you'll know how much crap this shit is.

  • @ZERO198033 Obviously your a piece of shit. I'd like to see Yelawolf reference half as much and have such deep lyrics as P.O.S., let alone any other mainstream rapper that is "better" than this. First off it's music, expression of self over melody and I'd say P.O.S. does it for the love of it and for the expression it involves. Take a look at content and maybe one day you'll see who's "better"

  • The fishing wordplay was sick!

  • (And btw, high school drop out -> medical school. This explicates why I keep going.)

  • I've been studying my ass off all day. Thank you for reminding me why.

  • that is true rappin. you are just fuckin awesome for reading this.

  • beautiful, without a doubt!

  • I LOVED THIS SONG THE 1ST TIME I HEARD IT, EVEN MORE WHEN HE PLAYED IT THEN, THEN~ GOT UP AND PLAYED WITH MINUS THE BEAR= AWESOMENESSAMAZINGUS , AND STILL LOVE IT SHOWING IT TO OTHERS, OR REMEMBERING A LOVE MYSELF~

  • @chastalight what the fuck

  • midnight FTW

  • I'm not a rap fan, never have been. But I could listen to P.O.S all day.

  • @justanoli aka real hip, stop listening to rap and listen to hip hop and youll find that the diamonds are worth digging for

  • @MrJackWaters Why would this and the lyrical stuff be called "hip hop", which sounds like it could be a dance move in a pop club, and not "rap", which could stand for 'rythym and poetry'? "Hip hop" sounds like it would describe dance music.

  • @purpbundlez well it doesnt

  • I'm listening this on a laptop hooked up to an extention cord ran from the neighbors. Powers off, about to get evicted, but P.O.S. is picking me up.

  • @slapbass18 -been in that exact same situation a few months ago..i had an extention cord going into the hallway so i had lights in the living room....this was my song...deff know where your coming from hope things work out for ya

  • @slapbass18 i doubt it

  • @slapbass18 i guess shoplifting aint paying the bills eh?

  • P.O.S is hella good live! i remember him at be the riot and damn crazy ass energy lol

  • Rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in

Refuse to lose my name like sen (chihiro)

Away with the spirits,I am fear personified

    :D Spirited away reference <3

    P.O.S is sickk

  • this is what all rap should sound like

  • this is what all rape should sound like

  • DEF WISH CAST..

  • The best rappers, or any artists, are underground and not very known. It's all about image nowadays, which most artists and their fans alike value, ignorantly, more than the composition of their music. A perfect example would be Lil Wayne. Excuse my language, but he's the most piece of shit fucking "rapper" in existence.

  • @ParadiseLost329 I second that.

  • "This is for all the artists who know their work is just a drop in the ocean but do it anyway, hoping."

  • @rcoker6 that was so scary i read this at exactly the same time he said it in the song. im like afriad to leave my house now lol

  • Never enough! I keep on looking and new songs keep on coming. Newbie to P.O.S but I'm a lifer now! hes not just rapping. Hes speakin out with somethin to say actually unlike most.

  • this is for all the artist who know their work is just a drop in the ocean but do it anyway hopin

  • This guy is a smart rapper. that's a rare find nowadays. my problem is the music. just like every other "underground" group or rappers beats. why do producers in this genre think the only answer is to find some 50 year old piece of classical guitar sample and drop a drum beat over it? its a very half assed approach at musical ingenuity. unlike the mc, this beat is completely unoriginal and the poster for cookie cutter "underground beats.

  • @TheN8knuckles what would you prefer? my dude

  • @rshekyahoo Something more original. It's this type of beat that makes the underground scene boring to me. just an opinion.

  • @TheN8knuckles damn I was hoping you would have been a dick to me so I could start a huge internet fight, but becuase you're not and you threw your opinion out there rationally I will too, K I find alot of these beats (at least in the case of P.O.S) just as ingenuit-talinzed as any beat you will find in the industry, however there are amazing beats in the industry but they kind of need to be amazing due to a probable lack of lyrical substance, but i see ur point, its a taste thing

  • @TheN8knuckles I don't know man, i guess he probably give up that way, with underground beats. I do know that this dude makes his own beats for his own songs, so i wouldn't call it unorginial. I still think its a pretty sick song over all

  • @TheN8knuckles that may be extremely true but i really like the way it sounds. i mean, sometimes simple is better.

  • @TheN8knuckles It focuses on the rapping. Underground beats are way better than the mainstream

  • P.O.S....that about says it. This is your ridiculous and worthless self...this is your ridiculous and worthless self on P.O.S....get it!

  • POS...thanks man.

  • this music does not get me in the mood for shoplifting, HOWEVER it is still very good.

  • NOS had it right when he said, "Hip Hop is dead."

So press your ear to the dirt and listen to that UNDERGROUND.

    P.O.S. is amazing, 108/0. =)

"Put a hand up, try to relate."

  • it's annoying that every rap song i listen to on youtube has people constantly commenting on how they like them more than whoever's in the limelight at that moment. you must be boring people.

  • @smutheoperator ??? so you sayiing because those ppl who dont like mainstream rap are boring ppl??? im just confused and trying to clarify??

  • @0899329032 no i'm saying those poeple who post comments on a song by artists like P.O.S and mention lil wayne must be boring because they're repetetive. and seemingly unimaginative- which begs the question of why they're comparing artists, but that's another story. ya digggg now?

  • @smutheoperator not really but i getcha point...and ya i dont think boring is the right word but i agree completely!!

  • @smutheoperator AMEN, People need to shut the fuck up and listen to the music,

  • Its funny how on almost all P.O.S videos, at least one of the Highest Rated Comments say something about kanye or lil wayne or drake and bieber sucking asshole. Which they do. Keep killin it P.O.S!

  • some got the cassette version of this lol

  • ZERO DISLIKES.

    enough said.

  • Ive probably contributed about 300 of these views..

  • Amazing

  • Put a hand up, try to relate.

  • dont hate on kayne he was good before 808s and lyircal before graduation

  • Ipecac Neat****

  • P.O.S. - saving rap one track at a time

  • Which album is this from? Audition?

  • @jpettersen86 ipecac neat, yo. buy that shit - it is a wonderful cd.

  • @jpettersen86 Ipeac Neat

  • "See i see why crews choose to fox news

i see CNBC, see and be seen"

if you cant understand his lyrics you probably aren't intelligent enough to be listening to them. and dont worry...KrfNYC goes from video to video trying to start youtube fights. this isnt the first time ive seen him butthurt over someone who isnt Nas :*(

  • BEN-lol

    funny.. xp

  • Kidding! lol

  • I shoplift all the time!

  • Comment removed

  • words cant describe the feeling i get when i listen to this guys flow and beat. alot of inspiration. MN TC 4 LIFE

  • Pos is obviously a genius and this guy is obviously an idiot trying to sound smart. Pos is the only artist giving me hope for the future of music. If he can't make u say "oh!" it's because ur not intelligent enough to understand his lyrics. Go listen to drake and leave rhymesayers to the true school.

  • I understand everything, I just don't think he's a genius. I like hima s an artist. And if I can't understand what he's saying than is he a genius? If he can't deliver his message in an understandable fashion, than he's delivering it in poor fashion, thus leaving ti inaffective. Again, I understand and like P.O.S., I just don't think that he is a genius. And Drake's "music" sucks.

  • What's the difference between an artist and a genius?

To me at least there isn't a difference.

and hey, a genius is only what someone thinks one is.

  • To me an artist is somebody who expresses themselves in creative ways. An artistic genius is one who does so at a level that is superior to others.

  • @KrfNYC2 If you think that shit then you shouldn't be listening to any kind of music at all other than instrumental music and then you'd still be pushing what you call "understandable."

  • @chonomakona I don't get what you trying to say.

  • funny thing, that it's always the comments posted with REAL music that unlock reality...

there's gotta be some kind of relationship between taste in music and intelligence, or at least consciousness =)!

  • yeah, lyrics lol

  • I truly hope this will stay underground for ever. even the comments on youtube make sense.. POS is nothing more than he is, and thats one of the best things you can be. much love and i hope you come back to holland, last show canceled at the night itself...

  • wheres this song from?

  • Do you mean the album? "Ipecac Neat"

  • At about 2:11 he says "I don't care where just far". Does anyone know if this was influenced by the deftones song (be quiet and drive)

  • probably man, he's always makin subtle references. Like on "let it rattle" he alludes to the shawshank redemption, mitch hedberg, and the big lebowski. Dammit he is literally a genius.

  • hey, you should listen to purexed. also his freestyle is good.

what you call sloppy rhymes i find a fresh new style. the whole rap as fast as you can fit as many syllables into every beat kind of rap is all fine and dandy but i prefer to listen to songs like taxi driver by gym class heroes....

  • @KrfNYC2

    fuck you

this is emotion filled artistic hip hop

if you cant hang get outta the rap section

    POS is dope

    Sage Francis > Emily Dickenson

    Slug>Ghandi

Jack Kerouac> Dickenson Da Vinci is quite over hyped in my opinion as an artist as well i would much rather see a monet or picasso

and many graffiti artists in modern day do it quite well its an art too

and i will stand by all those statements

  • I would rather listen to rap than read poetry, but I recognize that an Emily Dickinson poem takes a lot more thought than most hip-hop songs. And I'm not comparing activist like Gandhi to rappers like Slug because they don't have the same intentions for their craft. I mean it's obvious that Gandhi has done more for the world than Slug. And I like Atmosphere.

  • Comment removed

  • Gandhi liberated an entire country from foreign tyranny and religious war. Tell me how you can put him on the same level as a rapper. I'm a fan of Atmoshere, but I'm relaistic and logical. What do you mean by "hack"?

  • @KrfNYC2

    hack

    low level of vocabulary

    no emotion in the writing

today very little people care about Ghandi who are my age , 18, and everuone who listens to Slug or POS that i know of gets so much out of each song

its a diffrent time and place

its impossible to so what Ghandi did today

and i can also say almost certinly Ghandi could never make an album like When Life gives you lemons

  • @chuckzilla12 also lack of creativity under definition of hack

  • I'm not a big fan of Dickonson, but I respect her talent. And what did Ghandi do for today's world?...Probably saved the lives of millions (who now are parents and grandchildren to our geenration) who would have been killed in religious riots if Gandhi hadn't settled them. On top of that, everyone in India today has a better life because of Gandhi. If it wasn't for him than they could still be under abusive and unjust British tyranny. Besides that he is an embassador to humanity, beyond India.

  • @KrfNYC2

are you saying just beacuse you dont understand something means its

no offense 99% of americans could give a fuck less about india

    its just the truth

most people in this generation dont kno shit about Ghandi or British Imperialism

and emily dickenson was a hack of a poet

thats kind of like ina modern sense saying that Glenn Beck is an objective journalist

its "true" but in reality in no way

mention a good poet at least someone like Frost or Keroauc

  • I don't understand your first sentence. It looks like you lefta word out. And my original statement was that I think of Gandhi as a genius before P.O.S. and not for what he did, but for his philosophy. The discussion than moved to wether or not Gandhi influenced are world. And wether or not you care about him, he changed the world. And why are we still on Emily Dicksinson? I said myself that I'm not a huge fan. You can not like someone but recognize their talent.

  • @mattbnugka ya man me and my friend just sit down and listen and try to catch as many references as we can, he uses so many! movies, music, books i mean hes fucking amazing!

  • @mattbnugka i noticed that hedberg reference. made me so goddamn happy.

  • what?? vv lol. damn good song

  • girls just like gettin licked like lollipops bro

  • Wings and teeth for life! Doomtree!

  • ill shit

  • illsick shit

  • your mom's overrated

  • dopeenessss

  • anyone knows how old he is in this?

    he sounds so different haha

  • This is off his first solo album "Ipecac Neat", witch came out in 2003.

    Cheers, Kenton

  • oh thanks bro haha

6 years ago haha, a lot has changed.

  • i think it was recorded even before then cause it was out for awhile before rhymesayers re-released it

  • Well the re-released Ipecac so it might have been recorded before then but still always been on Ipecac, good call though. I forget about that =(

    Cheers, Kenton

  • Na, it was still '03, RSE re-release was '04

I've heard the older mix of Duct Tape and Gimme Gimme Gunshots on the False Hopes Mega with Cecil Otter, and thats still in '03.

  • i love him. like hes a real rapper.

    unlike kanye and lil wayne

  • @BraelynH I like my boys, Kanye and Lil Wayne? LMFAO!!

  • @peacevitalove now that kanye one is half right he used to be real

  • @peacevitalove Kanye is the realest rapper.

  • @lunchbox no. no, he's not. not by a long shot. you need to listen to more P.O.S. and Atmosphere and some of the Doomtree Crew.

  • @chonomakona I love rhymesayers and doomtree's shit. and I've been listening to all that stuff for years. You should listen to more Kanye, if anything. His older shit is real as tits. really. for real. reeeeeaaal. so reeeeeeal. really though.

  • @lunchbox but he's not the realest rapper. He's gone down. A real rapper who's never strayed from how he started would be P.O.S., Mos Def, and Talib Kweli.

  • @chonomakona So, kill Kanye for taking a swing at something new. I don't even want to hear you say some shit on 808 and heartbreaks wasn't dope as fuck.

  • @lunchbox Wow, I'm not insulting Kanye. I'm saying that he's not the realest rapper. He doesn't talk about shit most people can relate to anymore. And in response ahead of time, no he doesn't. He is a great musician and producer but he is not the realest.

  • @peacevitalove I like Lil wayne.... This guys cool too. I'm usually into Hardcoer stuff but it's good.

  • @heartlessninja hah lil wayne aint hardcore ....

  • @0899329032

I mean I usually listen to bands like Chelsea Grin or Asking Alexandria, like actual hardcore music. I just mean in terms of rap I usually just listen to weezy but I love P.O.S. way more.

  • @heartlessninja i hate when i have to get technical cause it makes you seem like an ass... anyways chelsea grin is crummy deathcore ...there a few good deathcore bands out there but really not for me, asking alexandria well, if anything there more metalcore ....actually hardcore is short for hardcore punk... for example black flag (godfathers of hardcore), BAD BRAINS! there also like bands like biohazard, madball, agonistic front, the newer "hardcore " which i really dont like are like STUG

  • @0899329032

Well I didn't mean to get technical. Where I'm from hardcore just means anything hat's really heavy and has breakdowns haha. I know there are various sub genres and all but that's way too specific for me to get into when I'm not sticking to any of them. I love chelsea grin though, they're brutal.

  • @heartlessninja haha i think i got a bit more technical than you, but to each their own, any ya where your from would be wrong every else...dnt even get me started about chelsea grin and their "brutal-ness", their the prefect example and one of the reason why i look down on the deathcore genre. anyways sweet having the convo. where you from anyways?

  • P.O.S.

  • P.O.S.= great music...

he's on my top of my favorite mc's

he sounds younger in this one...

  • frikin tight

  • Saw dude on Mtv Comercial

  • Quality

  • yeah, they are pretty sweet live. i saw them at warped tour last wednesday. the dj is awesome, not to mention their mc. mind blowing performance. he freestyled the first ten mins of his set

  • POS is an mc....

  • emcee

  • Lol sorry.

  • then the dj on stage must not have consistently been with him. regardless, the dj that was performing with POS was fantastic, and he was as well. really knew how to work a crowd.

  • I've seen a few people make this correction now...Where the fuck are people getting it from?

MC is an anacronym of Master of Ceremonies, emcee is just a variant of spelling....

MC/Emcee, nothing different but the spelling people....

  • yeah, you would think that people knew that after all this years with MC's / emcee's.

  • POS is so sick! He's probably in my top 5 mc's and I just started listening to him like 20 minutes ago.

  • ha me too i read about him in ap magazine

  • lmfao nice.

  • You're hot.

  • I love his music and i love him lol :)

  • whos talking at the end

  • good ?

  • this song accentuates my hunger pains....

  • pretty good song

  • I can never thank music enough for underground hip-hop. Finally hip hope people without money and bitches can relate too

  • my man...

  • i'm in that place again where i havent been in a while, its a place called fucking well impressed-ville.

  • that shit is ill pos kills it every time

  • POS is my new favorite artist

  • "rather be forgotten then remembered for giving in refuse to lose my name like sin"

  • word up

  • How can people think 50 cent has anything on guys like P.O.S. I just don't get why this shit doesn't rock the radio.

  • Because ppl don't want to hear the voices of the hurt, they wanna hear the success stories and ppl who can talk about nothing but sex, drugs, and cars and hope that someday they can lead that lifestyle, personally, I say fuck that, let's be heard

  • When we're lucky, we get conscious emcees like B.I.G. and Jay-Z, Rakim, Nas. They talk about their past, but it's storytelling. Some cats get so involved in the competition that they forget they're also supposed to be artists instead of just glorifying their image. I don't know enough about P.O.S. to make any big comparisons, but I think he's doing it for the right reasons.

  • I agree whole heartedly, P.O.S. is rapping for all the right reasons, not to make money but because he loves it, because he loves sharing his thoughts, ideas, and emotions
