I'm not sure though, because I didn't hear the song for many years until yesterday. 1948-49 marked also the birth of real hi-fi (mono), making the recording industry as interesting to hear as HD Television is interesting to watch today.

I like this version very much... I like David Bowie's version too, but maybe this is even better.
