I seriously stopped everything I was doing and just closed my eyes while listening to this. If you know any musical purists who shun electronically produced music, please let them hear this song.

@sho1oo Hes talking about a player in the starcraft community. Destiny is a popular streamer, and a solid zerg player. By the way, whats wrong with starcraft being someone's 'destiny'?
This is my all-time favorite song. It's absolutely stunning. At first I was turned off by the length and the quirks of the genre, but now that I've acquired a little appreciation for this kind of music I have realized that this is a unparalleled masterpiece.
Even if this song has just caught your attention try the longer version! Seriously this excerpt is incomparable, you will be greatly rewarded for your curiosity!
i think kashiwa is one of the most talented song writers out there. he can do by himself what people try to accomplish with a huge band and expensive studio time
@Pewpewharhar No they are saying that they are tired of seeing his name in every video, because idiots think it's cool to bash him, when the song they are on has nothing to do with him at all. Saying his name, and mentioning the dislikes does not make you cool or witty. It makes you unable to accept that others have different opinions, and tastes in in music.
I like how he plays everything in the beginning one at a time building it up so you can hear all the wonderful sounds he uses to create these tasty songs :)
Some astonishingly good use of sound here. The moment at 4:57, when you suddenly hear a sharp breath, fits in perfectly with the music for some reason.
Question: where in the 35-min song is this extract from? Near the start, near the end, or in the middle somewhere?
@tehcosmicexplorer08 I agree. I love the addition of breaths, children laughing, etc. They make a great contrast to the strings, piano, and beats/electronic mainstay and are great at keeping this fresh. My friends seemed disturbed by the dissonance, though.
Stella, especially the final 12 minutes of it but preferrably the whole thing, is something I'd like to have stored in lossless form on a satellite, shoot it out as far into space a spossibke and broadcast it all over the universe, signifying that we were once here and this is what we managed to come up with.
OMG. I was playing this song in the background, using a music player. I youtubed this video, and they are now playing at the same time.... IT SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL!
I was outside yesterday listening to this song in 90 degree humid weather. I was sweating like a pig. When the violins came in halfway through the 25 minute mark I got goosebumps.
@TheZmusic I never did either...........I played it 12x..... I can't stop listening to this song. i will never find any other band/artists like KD. This song never gets boring. This song makes me have memories for no reason...
A website told me this artist was comparable to the flashbulb and in many ways he is... Listening to him for the first time i must say he is quite amazing...
