I have a question that I think is a serious objection to this understanding: If the ruling elite actually understand the true nature of reality, an understanding and perception wider then ours, why then would they seek to control us? I thought that when we let go and perceive the world for what it is, we don't need to try and control it.

@Uberware Yes that's true. The problem I have with followers of David Icke is their insistence that anyone who doesn't believe Icke's theories doesn't 'think for themselves'. When the opposite is true. I don't take anyone's word for anything, and the 'evidence' shown to back up these conspiracy theories is always paper thin and contradictory, much like the 'evidence' for any religion. David Icke is a leader of sheep who think they're shepherds, and he is making a fortune from them.

Then there are his £30+ DVDs, t-shirts, as well as the 'premium membership' of his website £3 a month which reportedly has a few thousand members. Then take his almost constant talk tours, selling out huge venues like Brixton Accademy which would bring in £30,000 + a night. How can he not be rich?
