That is an amazing amount of hummers! We bought our first house last May (TX hillcountry) and the feeder in your foreground (the brushed-metal one) was our first hummer feeder purchase. It looks beautiful and does the job.
We used store-bought red dye nectar at first, but now make our own (the 4:1 ratio) without red dye. No major studies have been done on red dye and hummers...but if the human and mice studies are any indication, it could negatively impact them in the long-term.

Whereabouts in N. Texas are you? I'm in Denton and there weren't many hummers in my yard this year.
