8GB. In my case,I ordered a case for mine, 1.)in the 10 days it took to get here the back cover was already looking Not great,I had a static clear Screen Cover so my front is perfect. The back is easy to mess up.I got my Back Cover, it just Felt so thick & Tacky, not because of the Color,I chose Solid Black. I decided the screen was what was Vulnerable so I took the Back Cover off,and Left the Static Screen cover on.

Just so people know, to avoid damage, when removing the screen,before taking off the top right corner, right under the power button, there is a wire like paper, if you pull the screen right off it will rip, causing the touch screen to stop working. It will display, but touching the screen won't do anything. when removing, you have to carefully pup this part off. think of it as a fragile milk top. slowly pop it off, and then the screen will come off easily. Do not bend the screen even slightly.

Excuse me, top left corner contains the chip that needs to be disconnected. other then that, its somewhat a piece of cake to take apart. The rest though is a bit harder

its because u tried to open only the screen and didnt go deep enough thereby bending ur screen mostly, sooner or later the glue would weaken and let the screen crack

The problem here seems to be that my G2 Touch wasn't assembled anything like this. The workings are screwed to the metal backing and after half an hour of careful prying, it became obvious it's not going to come apart as is shown here.

its not to hard to open it. there are tools they make to open it. just a week ago my itouch 1st gen needed a new battery so i opened it and replaced it. apple was going to charge my $120 but instead i only spent $40
