  • I'm jealous Craig... that kit runs me around $90.00 here in the States. Mmmmm it looks so good though I may have to add it to my list anyway! Cheers.

  • You composed the theme yourself? It sounds very professional. I love it.

  • Will a brew belt left on constantly result in any complications ?

  • Glad to hear you're a fan of St.Peters! I live just a few miles from the brewery and it's one of my favourites. The Ruby Red is much darker when you buy a bottle but your brew does look just like the pic on the box so presumably the kit version is meant to be lighter.

Keep your eye out for Woodforde's, Adnams and Green Jack breweries. All first class breweries from my neighbourhood and all produce bottled beers that you might just stumble across!

  • Hey Craig, loved the video. I bought one of these packs yesterday and will be getting the fermenting going tomorrow. This will be my second ever homebrew batch and your vids have really helped. Keep up the good work and cheers!

  • Hey I live near the St Peters brewery in Suffolk UK, just a couple of villages away. Great video!

  • I just gave away my last bottle of St Peters Ruby Red Ale and the drinker couldn't stand straight afterwards so it's matured into rocket fuel. They loved the flavor though :)

  • I watched this video and before it had finished I had placed an order for it on a home brew website :P

  • great vid, iv,e just brewed coopers irish stout with 1kg dark spray malt and a tin of Lyle,s black treacle, very very nice.

  • Looks tasty I always enjoy the malty beers. I looked online for a kit. Do you know where I a website that sells those kits in America.

  • Do you like Jagermeister?

  • Beer it is Sex!

  • love this.....great vid craig!

  • Could do a short video showing how you prepare that kind of bottle for use? Do you do them just like regular bottles, or do you have to do anything different because of the cap?

  • @Echo5joker I just dip the cap in sanitizer. I use a bottle washer, the same red one I have used in my earlier bottling videos. You put sanitizer in the washer and push the bottle down on the stem to squirt sanitizer into the bottle. There's enough sanitiser in the washer to dip the cap in while doing this.

  • thre is no beer this fool doesn't love. :) I love it!!!

  • advertisements! Normally I would be annoyed, but I'm glad your getting some cash for this channel

  • Craig please put your videos on iTunes so I can take them with me!!

  • You know what's better then the beer... the rotary phone. lol

    Cheers!

  • Hello Craig, Great beer review of the St.Peters homebrew. I just got back from Canada> I met a great friend who's into homebrewing. Had a great time in Canada.

looking forward to your upcoming videos! Cheers...Paul from Minneapolis,Minnesota USA...ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • I'm watching you review a St. Peter's while I'm downing a few.......Yum yum! I've only started home brewing fairly recently(4 batches done) and I am amazed, flabbergasted and delighted that It's better than I could ever imagined. A fantastic beer and a great channel.....Keep up the good work Craig!

  • LOL, "the first thought that comes to my mind is I've got 5 gallons of this..." Very nice Craig.

  • Craig have you ever brewed/tasted a 'Porter Beer' before. I brewed one up afew months ago and drinking it now, but im not sure if what im tasting is good or bad! help :)

  • Last time I tried to dial a phone like yours it was tricky

  • Hi Craig, Nice video. If St Peters ever make a winter ale kit then you're gonna be in BIG trouble. That ruby red looks top quality, I fancy a few pints of that :)

  • If we could get these kits here I'd be all over it!

  • Lol five gals, good stuff

  • I think I'm gonna ask my local beer store to order me some St-Peter... looks like a very good beer!

  • Wow that looks delicious - gonna check with the local shop see if they can get em in

  • if you get the chance film the lancaster!

  • Looks like a great beer kit Craig. My mouth was watering while watching you do the tasting...Cheers and 17!

  • my batch of St Peters Ruby Red Ale is done as well and it's the best kit I've had so far

  • I know I have based you in the past for using kits, and I have moved onto partial extract, but as you love the real thing AND you love this kit, I will give it a go when christening my new flat.

  • Hello My friend, I agree Kits are great, I have to try that kit, as always Craig I enjoyed watching your tast test and brewing video on this beer kit, We look faward to your next Video, Mark

  • Hello Craig nice video. did you bottle these beers or use the kegs?

  • Coopers carb drops work excellent. I agree. Nice beer Mate!

  • Really nice video! I really liked the bit at the end where you reinforced that taste is subjective and that so is brewing preference. I get so sick of the back and forth over "this is better than that". I like to see you promoting people drinking what they like and making it how they like to make it. I don't know why different people liking different things is so hard for some people to grasp. Thumbs Up!

  • Great video craig. Hope i can find one of those kits near me in australia. Cant wait cheers.

  • Love the old phone does it work?

  • @thegentlearts I was thinking the same thing.... haven't seen a rotary phone in a long time

  • It wont be easy going back to normal beer when your 5 Gallons is up. Looks like a nice beer. Is the lacing real or is it a dirty glass?

  • It wont be easy going back to normal beer when your 5 Gallons is up. Looks like a nice beer.

  • Cheers ! Nice review on the St. Peters kit! Do you know if they make any other types of there beers in kits like this? I'll have to keep my eyes open for these kits.

  • "streat to the Tasting"? I think you mean straight to the Tasting...

  • Craig since you have 5 gallons how's about sharing a little budy ; P

  • Must be fermentation temperatures........the wife won't let me have a bucket with water and ice............only live in an apt.....

  • Can't complain about the way the stuff I brewed looked either except it tasted like pond water...............

  • 3 dislikes? hmmmmmmm TSA must have made 3 accounts lol

  • Great video!! And great rotary phone on the table next to you!!

  • You must have really good water out of the faucet there Craig! I'm Jealous!

  • I don't think there is a home craft beer out there that Craig doesn't like. I hate beer, but I do love the crafting and the passion that enthusiasts like you present. Excellent video as always my friend. Some of the best presented and produced stuff on YouTube.

  • Great video Craig looks like a very tasty beer, must try it someday, hey wait I know where there is five gallons of it right now! Haha! Take care!

  • Craig, the annotations are a fantastic addition to your videos, particularly the link back to the brewing of the beer. These make finding the referenced videos much easier! Thanks!

  • Have to check that out ,Your fish tank looks like it `s Arcing on video.

  • I don't think I've ever watched a video where you didn't like the beer! :P

  • Nice review, really enjoyed it. It's got me excited to get back to brewing myself.

  • Wow Craig! I am going to have to see if I can get that kit. That beer looks deliciouse! I love Red Ales and you made me extremely thirsty! LOL Cheers Sir.

  • The color looks exactly the same as the picture on the box to me, looks nice.

  • Hi Craig! Great review and beer the beer looked great! i'm a great fan of St. Peters too, but I was wondering on one thing. In this vid. your ruby red looks a lot paler than a ruby red. The ruby red should be darker, almost like a brown ale, with a red ruby-ish colour. Is this because of the lighting in your living room or?

  • @Shibbster87 I had the exposure of the camera high because I was wearing a white T-shirt and didn't want my face to be dark from the bright sun shining on the shirt. Probably a bad choice of apparel, but the sun wasn't that bright when I was setting up. Also, the camera probably didn't register the color of the beer accurately. I did think it looked like the picture on the box. :)

  • @CraigTube Ah, okey. But thats great! Could you also post a vid. of the result of the ruby red ale you kegged? That would be great! :)

  • That is an absolutely gorgeous looking beer. Amazing head retention on that one. Cheers!

  • It's tormenting to watch you taste the beer!

  • Theres eating and drinking in that ale Craigman...Great vid as usual.....
