Saabs lost it after the 9000...sorry ..it's a Vauxhall.

The 9000 was not designed by Saab. It was helped by a few other manufactures I think one of them was Lancia.

Sort of...in fact it used a Lancia chassis form as a basis because it was a huge saving. This was modified by Lotus and produced in Sweden using different sheet thickness and tucking, welding and finishing processes. The result was the absolutely perfect balance.

Other than that very intentional 'short cut', the 'design' of the car is very much Saab, especially the detailed engineering throughout.
