I have a skidoo but did they really set that nytros suspension up. No. Unfair because I know the my dads nytro rapes the 1200 skidoos. I'll stick with my 800r
I hate all these videos that brp makes. You`d have to be an idiot to not know that their all riged. Its the same thing with polaris. All their vids say their the best even though their the 2 worst brands. Yamaha and Arctic cat all the way
stupid as fuck to put a 1100 cat in this it kills all the other sleds in power and does like 130 stock so ya put the 500 sno pro that would totally keep up and beat all of these sleds brp is retarded for doing this test
the cat wouldn't stand a chance against ski-doo's 600xrs(race special) the cat wouldn't even make it to the finish line anyway cause you would blow the motor.
this is the worst comparison ever. who the fuck runs 4 strokes in a snowcross race. leave 4 strokes to yamaha, they can have them as long as they want.
I Love BRP but I think those video's they pass out to make thier sleds look good does just the opposite. I don't like BS and I know the 4 stroke BRP is no match for a Nitro. I got a new XTX this year selling the 08 Apex LTX-GT. I switched to Yamaha from Polaris after Polaris started selling junk. I didn't like the Rev style too much but I really like the new design. I happy Polaris has come back with better sleds. Now they need to work on a better 800 with better efficency.
At least BRP had the other sleds look like they were trying. In the CD they sent out the other 3 didn't look like they were trying to do much. I doubt it if the BRP sled can beat the snowcross designed Yammi. Plus that Doo motor is not better. It has less power and more displacement. It is on par with the 120 yammaha motor. Now I love BRP as they are innovaters but in the long run Yamaha is better across the board. I went with Yamaha this year but I was strongly thinking BRP.
I used to race for polaris, looking to buy a new sled. Thinking skidoo, liked driving that, drove a new yamaha last year on groomed trails, and it was the tippiest thing i've ever rode... maybe fun for jumping
The BRP 800 in Renegade or X package would be ideal for you. Apex chassis Yammi's are top heavy. The Vector is the same chassis. Last years Yamaha Nitro has handling issues that were addressed for 09. BRP has also addressed weak suspension issues. Last years Nitro suspension was a bit soft. I'd stay clear of the 1200 4 stroke from BRP. Nice but like a Vector yamaha motor. Yamaha's new Nitro SE is top of the line. The 800R with X package is what you would be happy with.
no duh the skidoos going to be better u put the polaris dragon out there put the 600rr out there and see what happens

My Nitro weighs almost 1000 pounds with me on it, so I have to wait a little longer than eveyone else for the lakes to freeze.

TO BE FAIR BRP needs compare to competitors 2009 models not 2008.
