I had a teratoma. It was a serious scare for me. The doctor came in and said "This is never an easy thing to say... but we found a large mass on your right ovary... We need you to go to Memphis TODAY to get it checked out further..." I was like O.O. It was my 19th birthday that day too. I spent the entire day taking test after test. They then told me it was a Benign teratoma the size of a softball. When I had my surgery they told me what was in mine: teeth, hair, fingernails & an eye.
