Great video, good song and though you're dead on about the (current?) bailout plan as a bad thing, The problem is, I believe that there *is* a real problem and that no action we can take is going to be good. "No action" is also not good.
Cathy believes that she will lose her life's savings if something is not done quickly. I'm not so sure that she is wrong, either.
I didn't really appreciate the magnitude of what was happening until the 700 billion proposal was headlining on news channels. Lots of fear mongering going on: portents of another Great Depression and a warning that 'this isn't a time to think this through and read the fine print - America needs this now!'
I am relieved a majority of Congress did read the fine print and realized this bill wouldn't protect the interests of millions of middle-class tax payers.
