  • Even 2 years after posting this, it's still a very moving memory. I couldn't believe it was just me & Michael at that beautiful place. Alone, together. So bittersweet. I remember banging my iPhone up against the glass in an effort to get closer to him ( you can see it in the video). It was a real exercise in finality for me, that he was dead, lying there just a few feet from me, & there was nothing I could do to help him, nothing I could do to change it.
