Do you think the 6.7 with eger delete, straight pipe, all the emissons B.S. off there is just as loud as the 5.9 straight piped?

@04Fleck I'm not really sure, I haven't had a chance to compare it. I know putting a Smarty S67me on it made it a little louder.

@dirtbikemechanic We just have small planes fly over, occasionally a big plane that parachuters jump from will fly within 200 feet above the house, they go really low.

Sounds good, I'm fixing to put 5" turbo back on my 09 6.7, I went with the H&S mini maxx to delete the dpf and egr cooler and valve.

@CL0WNMILENKO666 Yeah it would have. But I bought the truck from a salvage yard, and did some work on it, so the warranty was already voided.

@bmartin7958 well I don't have the EGR off yet, but for the DPF I got a little electronic kit that clears the DPF codes. when I take the EGR off I was thinking of getting the H&S XRT tuner or something similar to that.

@Joshmorrison86 Yeah it would throw a code. I bought an electronic kit that takes care of all that.

@Joshmorrison86 You can get the electronic kit at (Pure Diesel Power . com) I don't think it would interfere with your Bully Dog, everything I have ready says that the kit is designed to work with chips. So you should be good to go.

@TheSmoken67 I got a DPF delete electronics thing from Flo~Pro along with the pipe. It fools the compy just like a programmer, except it doesn't do anything else.

@slickLS2 It's really not bad, going down the road at 70 its still really quiet. It will get loud when it's around 2000rpms. I really like it so far!

Nice i had a 07.5 mega laramie khaki like that gota 2011 now. Ordered a dpf delete pipe n gota h&s. I had smarty before go for a Tuner. Is ur egr out?

@CowsXonXcrack Well I put the pipe on as soon as I got it, so I can't really compare. But I have seen it get up 20mpg. But it normally runs around 16, so its not too bad. It usually gets worse because I like to romp on it every now and then. haha!

I am looking at getting a 07 with the 6.7..... any advice? It has 3.55 rears in it and a 6 speed auto, what type of milage do you get and what rears do you have? Do you have any regrets and did you ever have a non emission 5.9 Cummins?

@rrc5034 Well this is the first Cummins I have owned. But I really like it! It has plenty of power and has been reliable so far! I have had it about a year. I have seen it get up to 20 mpg on the road. But for me it hovers around 16 or 17. I was fairly pleased with that! I'm not sure what rear end it has. Sorry. But the 6-speed auto it really nice! Haven't had any problems with it!

There never really was a "non emission Cummins". There were the ones that were pre-EGR, DPF, and catalytic converter. The old 12 V and the pre-03 cummins diesels were some of the besr cummins diesels.

Programmer is really the way to go - I went with the Smart Junior, but there is also H&S XRT. You don't need to add any power if you don't want to, and it makes sure there are no codes.
