Something I don't understand is if you have an all guy marching band, its not really surprising..BUT, if you have an all girl marching band, its a womens movement or some shit like that. And its not just this, if a women accomplishes anything a guy has already done, it automatically more impressive then if a guy were to do it. Congratulations on the marching band, but don't think its super awesome because its all girls.
@Drkill102 Well it's more impressive because guys have put woman down for so long....and now they are coming out of our shadow & doing things on their own. Yes it's impressive for a guy too but guys are way to overrated. I was just excited to hear them play & they played beautifully!!
wow.. this really boosts my confidence!! for 3 years i listened to boys tell me i sucked and that i wasnt goin to go far. but i made the drumline and they didnt! :D im the only freshman to make it in ... 4 or 5 years at my school! AND there is only 1 more girl on the line and she'll be gone next year :) keep playin guys! (girls)
Haha, sorry. It's just that the flutes in my band irritate me. They are also lazy, complaining about how hard it is to maintain their 90 degree flute angles when I have to carry a 40 pound set of tenor drums.
