"No" was her response to the first question about sales tax. If you watch the entire clip you'll see she answers "yes" to the need to create new tax revenue, i.e. service tax. How would you go about fixing Michigan's budget deficit? Remember, the service tax was a bipartisan piece of legislation. Where are Reagonomics when we need them? Oh wait, Reagonomics doesn't work, as shown by Michigan's economy! At least we can look up to Bush's conservative fiscal plan...hah! what a joke!

In another video Granholm Stated "No New taxes for Michigan taxpayers". The day after she was reelected she wanted to raise the sales tax and tax services. Anybody who voted for her I hope you get what you deserve! What would you expect for a Canadian educated in southern California. Dick would have never let the state shut down and would have worked for free. No wages. And his wife would not need a office with a whole staff like the first husband does. What a savings that would be!

I already found evidence from a 2002 debate with Dick Posthumus where she said, "I do not want to raise a single tax, except for one - to make sure there is parity between the diesel tax and the gas tax."
