So I use a 25th anniversary with cubesmith tiles. Would you recomend I go for a DIY? I like my cube because I don't pop, and in the VA Open someone did describe it as the best Rubik's brand he'd ever seen. I want your recomendayion (and while your at it, New Rubik's Vs. Eastsheen 4x4/5x5)

thrawst is 'colour neutral'. in this video the 2nd cube he started the solve with green cross. the other two he started with yellow crosses, it seems.

im skeptical about the importance of being 'colour neutral' I know that most if not ALL crosses can be solved in well under 10moves, if you can do 4 moves a second you'll be fine, plus Ive seen guys who stick to 'white cross yellow top layer' solve the cube in as fast as under 9 seconds so that pretty much sums it up for me...

Go try a DIY cube, an old worn out cube and a brand new store cube. Really big difference in how they feel and turn.

I think it's pretty cool that you're colour neutral. It probably helps you see easy beginning moves on other colours, when all I ever look for is white no matter how hard it is.
