Nicely done! I never actually used his weakness to beat him. I always just used the good ol' Mega Buster with the Arrow Shot (not sure of the actual name anymore). I would occasionally break through the leaf shield and damage him or I simply used the Laser Shot.

You don't have to switch out between the Mega Buster and the Flame Sword. The controls in Megaman 8 were set in such a way that you can use both the Mega Buster and the special weapon without switching out just by setting the right button for each.

Mega Man 2 once in the woods, then in Wily's castle as a rematch

Mega Man 3 as a doc robot

Mega Man 8 as an old enemy seeking revenge

and Mega Man 10 in the Weapons Archive.

Thats why Woodman is incredible

Maybe if they sped up the sprite animations or something..? Anyways, as it stands, I still like the old 8 and 16 bit sprites best in the various series.
