  • yo! Nice track in the end of video when the cast goes. Who is the author?

  • @Draftman1000

hi, it's Wojciech Hoffmann song "Irlandzki"

  • @0yavuz yup, lol that's why i checked it out

  • you guys know this is the pedal synyster gates uses from avenged sevenfold

  • Douchebag twisting knobs knows nothing about sound, what an idiot!

  • IRL Distmax sounds better than video. Especially if you not afraid treble knob like this guys.

  • "Pure happiness"

  • Damn! That pedal sucks ass! The Carl Martin Plexitone and the Radial Plexitube both chew that pedal up and spit it out! Even the Hardwire pedals smoke it,and at about 40% cheaper!

  • what's the song at the end?

  • piece of crap...

  • i hate that guy

  • @lilblackangus i love that guy! Turbo is a legend

  • why does it sound like the neck pickup?

  • Thought the sound was rather crappy. It was all fuzzy, compressed and mushy.

Give me a high gain sound ala a modded JCM800 or an ADA MP-1. High enough gain but with much better clarity and tightness. This demo makes Dual rectifiers sound good (and they sound squashy to me). Geez and I was thinking about getting one of these Krank pedals off eBay. Not anymore I think.

  • Wygląda jak Roman Kostrzewski stary... ale tylko troszeczke

  • What amp are you using with it??

  • @MrBoringolddude KRANK Rev Jr PRO

  • why are all of these guys are all afraid of the the f-in treble knob!!!!

  • What will this sound like thru a 15W amp?

  • I agree with you DimebagOHammett, This Krank gear was diffenetly made for metal, Most Krank demos on you tube contain Rock, Jazz, or Alternative stuff.

  • that sounds like shit.

I am glad I never owned one.

I had a Krankenstein once (should never have sold that gem) and it sounded about 1000000 times better.

  • @Morgorroth Do you really compare an amp that costs almost 4000 dollars with a pedal that costs 150 dollars?

  • @marcusthepojke 4000 dollars??? nono it was like 1600$ and i'm just saying that it doesn't even go in that direction.

Also, that was rather a sidenote. Main point: doesn't sound good. If you want a good distortion pedal go for a maxon.

But honestly: If you wanna play metal, get an amp that is layed out to do so. Even if it is some Spider or whatnot, it will still sound better than some random amp with a distortion pedal in front of it (I tried a lot of them, I know what I'm talking about). :)

  • @Morgorroth damn Kranks are cheap in the US in sweden they cost like 20 000 kr wich is like 3500-3800.

Well I do agree they sound nothing like a real krank amp (the other guitarist of my band has a krank). And yeahif they cost 1600 dollars you should get your sloppy american kfc-eating ass out and buy a krank!

  • @marcusthepojke I am from Germany, I bought mine used for 1200€ . Now they are about 2000€ (the new series).

I now own a 6505. Solid amp, good sound and realtively cheap.

  • @Morgorroth Yeah the 6505 is like heaven in an amp.

    Germany FTW!

    Cheap booze

    Cheap musicthing

    (thomann)

    and I'm like 3ed german!

  • @Morgorroth wierd, cause Synyster Gates use this... and you don't play in a famous band like A7x =) douche.

  • @madoerin well I don't know that a7x but I still say: the sound sucks, now you can spin on your head or jump in a square my opinion won't change. Also what argument is: xyz plays this equipment, so it has to be cool. Ever heard of endorsement? A friend of mine has one from a brand he doesn't like at all. But he gets money for it so uses it. Jeez

  • @Morgorroth Avenged Sevenfold.

  • @madoerin Ah, why the 7 ? Anyways: Get a good amp, fuck distortion pedals. Even those spider modellers etc sound better than a random amp with some pedal in front of it.

  • @Morgorroth =) SEVENfold...

    yeah yeah true =)

  • @Morgorroth it just depends on the amp you use..

  • @ALEXANDERvdw that's your opinion. I tried several pedals and they can never replace a good amp ;).

I do use a Tubescreamer in front of my 6505 though, to tighten the low ends and give it some more edge at about 2200 hz,

  • ...thanks for the post...you guys wail....

  • Good work - I wish more people would do their demos like this and let the gear and the settings do the talking.

  • I couldn't agree with you more..although Paul from Guitar World does some great demos even with the narration..
