@Jenylein There are 5 at least. This one, an abysmal 70's movie with folk singer Donovan, an 80's creepy-ass stop motion from Czechoslovakia that I gave up on because it disturbed me, a really cute 80's stop motion based on Robert Browning's poem, and a Shelly Duval's Faery Tale Theatre version with Monty Python Eric Idle. Happy watching. :)

The Dumont Network was out of business by 1957. This was an NBC special.

I read it was produced for DuMont to start their color service, which never materialized. NBC bought the rights and ran it as a family special.
