I have 2 nitro RCs by the way, a 1/10 mugen seiki k2x avance, and a 1/8 picco integra. but those are race car. the two have very proportionally wide tires at the rear in comparison to regular RC racing cars.

I couldn't afford to buy a new ones which cost $800 (body only). But I love 1/8 onroad formula GP. 10 years ago, I see people ages 25 and above racing with 1/8s. I was jealous because all I got is $50 electric powered buggy powered by 8 AA batteries. At least I got what I wanted, 10 years later...

@MsCrazydriver One more thing. If you can buy one out of your allowance, fuel can become the largest issue if you don't have a job. I only run mine once every other 2 months. I'm sure you can get your first RC assuming that its better than the ones I have since they are a year 2000 model. Buy 1/8 onroad formula GP, the wheels at the rear are very wide in comparison to the front wheels. They all generally look like a Porsche 917 or a Dauer 962. I'm suggesting a 1/8 Mugen Seiki MRX5. Buy that.

Cool video, I started with Nitro and still have my Extended Savage SS W/.32 and will NEVER sell it.

But with that said, it never get's used everything else I own now is BL, and once you've had a taste of Higher Top Speeds,More Torque,Longer Run Times,100% Torque @ 1RPM,98% Less Maintenance,Consistent Run's & 80% Less Filthy Gunk and Crap built up on the Vehicle...getting rid of all that for some Nitro's that don't have the same qualities seems stupid IMO...but to each there own I guess.

How is the Rustler a "toy?" Running on Nitro doesn't make a model any less of a "toy" in that sense, both Nitro and electric hobby class model r/c are not your typical "toys." All you're gonna do with nitro is tune it today tomorrow every day you run that thing and have fun cleaning all that fuel and oil, OH and after some time your engine will wear away and not have the same performance it once did, while your "toy" brushless Rustler will be running just as strong as the first day.

@MadOzZy I had a t-maxx first and got tired of cleaning it and buying fuel. The e-maxx is better for me. It has more torque than speed. When the batteries die, you take it in and yer done. No cleaning, no mess. If you like to run all day or compete in races then yea nitro is the way to go.

Yes your Nitro Pede beat an electric r/c that probably wasn't even running an equivalent power setup. A PEDE for crying out loud... any half decent brushless will easily beat that.

Also, the Summit does not "suck" like Nitro when it comes to driving on almost any terrain including being completely submerged in water, out of the box! Let's see a box-stock Nitro pull 100 lbs of weight or come out of a deep pond and under it's own power, without overheating or stalling. Puh-leease...

Old comment but your argument is now pretty outdated. You can get 30 mins from a couple of batteries which is better than refilling every 10 mins. Especially batteries from China, those are the best despite what you might think. You can get a couple of 2 or 3s lipos for $30 each and where I live, nitro fuel costs >$30 now. Plus there's the hassles of a nitro and in the end, electric is faster anyway
