Heres the whole situation with betas. Long ago when Clubpenguin first started, they opened it for server tests and room tests. They had Beta Hats there that would represent them that they were Beta Testers. The Beta Hats were there for 2 hours that day. So the hats would be there ONLY 2 hours. Concluding that means Betas were the first penguins ever launched for testing. There are VERY rare.
ROFL. They are fake. It's actually old penguins that were on Club Penguin when it launched. They got that free item that you think is a "Beta hat". A moderator told me.
