The game is awsome but I think that putting flying demons in the movie sucks... One of the reasons that made me like the game was the real story, no that demons bullshit. For me and other Max Payne fans the movie will be desapointing in that way, but is just my opinion.

The angels COULD be drug-induced hallucinations, yes, but they could also be metaphorical symbolise such as was used often in the games, esp. when Max is narrating in the graphic novel cutscenes. Let's not write off the movie JUST yet... there is still hope... =^)

Seriously the casting is horrible, you didn't stick to Sam Lake's original script. Mona Sax shouldn't really have such a large role in this film. What's with those angels? I mean come on.... Sorry but I got the game in summer of 2001 and have the mousepad that came with it. After 7 years of waiting you really dissapoint me. Hopefully somewhere down the road someone will re-make this the right way. This game should have more of a sense of reality, not unreality like the matrix.

The first thing I noticed was Wahlberg had no soot on his face, devoid of any cuts or bruising, and no 5 o'clock shadow.

Ill still see it and give it a chance. But the makeup (or lack of it) for wahlberg was disappointing. Max is supposed to be very haggard and burned out, not pristine like Wahlbergs face looks like.
