I love acoustic covers of this song (and seek them out quite often on Youtube), but the Sleepy's commercial was the first time I heard yours for some reason! A quick Google search led me here though.

Great version! The only thing I'm iffy on is that extra syllable you add to the end of some words ("... that went befo-re"), otherwise I really like this. :)

Not to sound conceited, but I get that suggestion a lot - I was going to audition this year but schedualing conflicts got in the way.

The other problem is that if you win -- you get locked into a sadistic and horrific record contract. They have total control over you for like... 7 albums. It's insane - and they'll make you tour and tour until you damage your vocal cords. So... I'd have to weigh the good and the bad from such an experience.

But it's something I'm thinking about! =)
