Nah the winner won!!! To everyone saying Wilkins should've he basically did the same thing twice. What's the big difference between a windmill and a double handle windmill, an extra hand and the judges seen that so on his last dunk that's why he got the 45. cause he just added an extra hand to the dunk he just did
Yeah, Nique has power and his dunks are thunder, but like someone said before, he kept doing the same dunk over and over. lack of MJ's creativity, so winner was clear.
buddy it was a make up call. They gave jordan a bad score on a great dunk and they were just making up for it. a figure 8 dunk should have been 50....so they made a mistake and made a make up call
It didn't hurt Jordan that his final dunk was one of the most famously replayed in all of televised sports, but to give 'Nique a 45 on his final dunk was just lunacy; reminds me of Ali vs Doug Jones back in '63. To his credit as Wilkins was as classy as they come, and hopefully he finds solace in the fact that anyone who watched this knows he won it.
Personally I think D. Wilkins did the windmill slam like 5 times in this competition. He kept doing the same dunk over and over. No wonder he got a 45 on the last one
Come on...did anybody really expect that Jordan would be even ALLOWED to lose in Chicago? Personally, I think they tied. I don't see how one could be judged as "better" than the other.
lets see who would win the slam dunk contest out of them two now. lol

I agree. This should have been a draw. MJ got some home-cooking.
