I have big worries about the US but if some sort of debt shock happens I have no doubt that we in the US are way different than Greece. If we can't finance our debt I have no doubt that military funding with be drastically cut in order to avoid a default.

What happened was we told the opec nations of the world that we'll give them tons of profit for oil and with the extra profit they must buy US Bonds and they can't trade oil for anything other than the USD.
