That was great animation but the music. The music was terrible or, the singer was terrible. As long as the singer matches the beat and has a nice voice, songs can breach any language barrier. This singer sounded like he or she was getting strangled... well at one point they drew the lyrics out way too long. That may not have been the singers fault but it still sounded bad.

It's meant to be that way, the original song was sounded better thouth, usually it's Airman ga taosenai (Can't beat Airman) but for this version someone resang the song as Silvia ga Taosenai (Can't beat Silivia)

Understanding what language means does helps getting into it though.
