It is not fair to the community or to the historical tradition of our city,strong affordable housing is one thing but paper mache houses for a arm and a leg is just ridiculous.

So let's see. Brewerytown has a household income of 1/3 the regional average. Westrum builds new townhomes and brings in new residents with higher incomes (more disposable income). This is bad for Brewerytown how?

Perhaps the "old" Brewerytown residents should figure out how to provide a service or goods that the "new" residents want and then they can share in some of that disposable income.

Stop spreading this hate! Some of us want to see investment come in to OUR area! Gentrification is NOT a bad word and those of us who OWN our homes will only benefit from Westrum's development!
