  • Tried my luck at an acoustic cover of this song on my channel. Check it out and rate.

  • BEST

    FUCKING

    SONG

    EVER!!

  • Easily the most talented and most versatile man in the biz...Love his work with Stone Sour so much better...Slipknot is great but this is amazing.

  • People say Corey can't sing, just listen to this

  • @megamrmovieman People are high. Corey is one of the most talented vocalists today. Watch Corey Taylor mad genius then you will really understand.

  • Some video game nerd likes a video and his fanboys come running... stone sour deserves better than this

  • @g1ngrrrawr Calm down little man it's just a song!

  • @g1ngrrrawr It's funny how your channel shows that you have been commenting, subscribing, and have favorited so many gaming videos and channels. How strange.

  • @g1ngrrrawr lol.. they deserve better than someone with over 250, 000 subscribers liking one of their songs so that the awesome song can be enjoyed by so many more people? you need to chill the fuck out and get over the fact you cant have that much of an influence on people and never will

  • hi TOY!"

  • Brace yourselfs

"xToYSoLDiieR sent me" posts are coming!

  • toy

  • xToYSoLDiieR sent me! :D

  • he will be remembered like jim morrison and james taylor thats how great of singer he is.

  • does it matter what was the first?? damn shit no :D

    both bands are great!

  • I love Corey. That is all. (:

  • Trivial... just as the whole album.

  • saw them in concertt.

  • this is one of my favorite songs.

  • Stone sour is the shit. Love when I can pop in a CD w/o having to flip through any crappy songs!! Every song on this album is amazing :)

  • Love this! Stone Sour is like the greatest! I mean, from Stone Sour to Audio Secrecy, the 3 records are like fenomenal.

But just a thing, and I really love this song, is it just me or is there a Puddle of Mudd song wich sounds a lot like this one?

  • this is one of my favs

  • One other thing I personally think that Stone Sour has realy come into there own on this latest album such a great mix of styles

  • @Dibbz83 agreed there, and from what Corey, Josh and Jim (though mostly Corey) have said about the follow-up, it should surpass this in pretty much every way. Not grumbling about the songs on here being a little lighter (for the most part) than the old stuff (though the composition's better than before), I hope the next album features more face-removers like The Pessimist.

  • Just note to all who are bitching about what corey, he was actually known for his melodic singing like you find in "stone sour" before he even was apart of "slipknot", so to say he should stick to one thing or only one of the bands is heis TRUE style, then YOU yourself are truley and idiot.

Also for those who don't know or just think that they do know. . . . Stone Sour exhisted long before he was apart of slipknot so stop ya bitching as it's just pointless, pathetic & extremley narrowminded!!

  • @Dibbz83 before you start being rude and criticizing other peoples opinions, why don't you learn how to spell first? No one's bitching, maybe a little disappointed that he's changed as much as he has..but hey, it's just an opinion. Shit, I've loved BOTH bands for a long time now. This just isn't what I've grown accustomed to from him. That's all

  • @cquinley1987 He hasn't changed at all. Take a few minutes and listen to a Stone Sour demo from 1994. People who say Cory has changed, or that he is a sell out, should understand him before making such claims.

  • sum 41 has the same song name :D

  • alright....... who in the fuck is the dickbag that hit the dislike buttion.......

  • I like this style of music better, I'm not a fan of the whole hardcore metal thing. But I never go to those types of videos and give it crap or anything. RESPECT MUSIC!

  • Calm down children, a lot of you seem to be forgetting that the members of Slipknot wore masks because they didn't want to be labelled for who they were outside of that band. They were all in separate bands and wanted people who listened to Slipknot records to be appreciating it for the music and nothing else. If you like Stone Sour tracks listen to them, if not, don't. Same for Slipknot tracks, the two bands have very little in common musically anyway.

  • Anybody that gave two shits and knew anything would know that Corey prefers this type of music over what Slipknot does.

  • who disliked this song? let them freeze their ass off in heaven. while we are warm in hell jamming out to stone sour and slipknot concerts for FREE.

  • No wonder the economys so bad ,artist whole albums are on youtube haha

  • @sswgaming my god.. you are dumb as hell

  • @megalebra how bitch wtf

  • thats right people! no dislikes! StoneSour rocks!

  • I think this is the first video i've found with NO dislikes!!! :) it's a good song!

  • Consider this my last request. Stop arguing about both bands.

  • I've never really been a slipknot fan but I love Stone Sour ;) I always loved the style of music they produced. Awesome stuff.

  • This song is so beautiful.. Damn I got chills

  • I love this song, something about the instrumentals remind me of Deftones... Stone Sour ftw! <3

  • Not a huge Stone Sour fan (or even Slipknot for that matter) but this is a good one. Nice lyrics without meandering into over commercialism and a great overall sound.

  • I love this band, also Slipknot, really good bands, thank you.

  • can i get an a men

  • So, did he like quit Slipknot or something? (Sorry for asking, I know it might be a dumb question.)

  • @Invisiblecheezburger no he did not quit slipknot- they are touring currently, the shows are listed on the website

  • @Invisiblecheezburger No not at all, he's just spending a bit more time with Stone Sour getting them started up again, he'll always be with Slipknot (:

  • @Invisiblecheezburger nahh he's in both, although it looks like he might be leaving slipknot now

  • @Invisiblecheezburger doesn't look like it they've been touring for almost a month

  • guys you never saw the movie on youtube about slipknot there they say that corey was in stone sour first ;D

  • Corey Taylor is like the Heavy Metal version of Michael Jackson...Great music all around, Great song writer.

  • Thank Satan! <3 somebody might have missed the Dislike button so far ...:)

  • open up the sun and burn my eye's

  • You got to admire Corey's versatility.

  • Basicly Corey is just an awesome singer,Yehh he has a bad past or watever.Dsont mean hes anyless of a person or an aweesome singer

  • I much prefer Stone Sour to Slipknot, and personally this is my favourite song by them. Corey has an amazing voice, and this music really brings it out.

  • Doesn't matter if you prefer corey in slipknot or stone sour, anyone who appreciates music will agree that the vocal on this track is absolutely fucking stunning!!

  • I've always been both a hardcore slipknot fan and a hardcore stone sour fan. But it seems like Corey is driving both bands into the ground. Hes gone soft. I can't even make it through a min of their stuff without being disgusted at what hes become

  • @cquinley1987 Well he's not the pissed off person anymore. He has grown up. And he is nearing 40 after all

  • I've always been both a hardcore slipknot and a hardcore stone sour fan, but it seems like Corey is driving both bands into the ground. He's gone soft. Not the Corey Taylor that I know and love. Very disapointed.

  • @cquinley1987 Yeah bro. I'm fuckin tatted for life with the tribal s and i'm kinda pissed he changed so much. but at the same time i still love the guy cuz he made slipknot and stonesour what they are so i guess all the fans are just sorta goin' along for the ride ya know..

  • @133StrikeKing I agree with you 100% I love and respect Corey for everything he's achieved and always will. He's an extremely talented artist and his vocals absolutely blow me away. This just isn't what I've grown accustomed to from listening to both bands for as long as I have. I respect the fact that he's grown and matured, it's just not the same anymore. IDK

  • Might I remind everyone that Corey Taylor was in stone sour BEFORE he was in Slipknot... so technically Slipknot is his SIDE project!

Either way long live Stone Sour and Slipknot!!!

  • @JohnBoy013 well technically he left stone sour to be in slipknot....

  • This song is more then touching, it's Corey, the band showing their true light and it's pretty god damn beautiful. It reminds me of the future for some reason, it's happy! But a slight bit of sadness. I cannot discribe how amazing it is.

  • Intro reminds me of the band Textures.

  • I loved slipknot, but this is clearly what he was meant to do. He wont really be remembered for slipknot, but for music like this he will be immortalised

  • without slipknot or stone sour,

I wouldve gone insane years ago

  • Let's not forget, Stone Sour came before Slipknot.

  • it sounds all alice in chains'y n shit

  • @jimmiB213 : D good thing

  • corey's voice is very flexible, and has a great one too..there no doubt that stone sour is one of the best..plus the band got some of the insane musician,no argue bout that..

  • Corey is a legend. I adore his voice. him in general creates music that inspires people young and old. For example.. I totally love Slipknot, I think they're amazing. When I saw Stone Sour live in October I was mind-blown on how amazing his voice is live and the band is in general. My mum doesn't like Slipknot but she likes Stone Sour's mellow stuff yknow? either way, Stone Sour AND Slipknot are BOTH amazing. so stop freaking fussing about it. COREY TAYLOR <3

  • does any1 else hear the similarity to inhale in the beginning?

  • I'm 13, and I've been listening to Stone sour and Slipknot since I can remember, I'm never leaving these bands, they're my life <3 Long live the greatness of Corey, the best vocalist to ever set foot on our planet :) and I do hope that the members of Slipknot, all 8 of them, can get over the death of beloved Paul, and make more music, because in my opinion, they are the meaning of modern Metal

  • ok i might get chewed up and spit out by saying this, but there're some points in this song that sound like grunge, mainly around the chorus

  • amazing is voice awesome i love every song on there new album i mean it sounds different then there older stone sour albums but its still good

  • THIS is THE MUSIC...

  • ♥ Gooil

  • @drugger18 Corey can do what he wants with his spare time. If he stayed in slipknot full time he'd probably have no voice left to sing with right now, plus a lot of people like and APPRECIATE his style of singing in stone sour because we realise although it'd different it doesnt make it crap. Unless you're 12 or younger I suggest you learn how to do the same ;)

  • @emibabyx I like him in both bands lol

  • @emibabyx actualy Corey studies with Malissa Cross- she is the secret behind some of the metal singers and teaches them teqniques that make it easy to use the metal/scremo voices... if you thought he was actualy just screaming flat out I feel sorry for you, he's been touring for 11 years, that means he wouldn't have been able to sing and record this =P not that I don't appreciate stone sour or that I'm agreeing with anyone else

  • this soft shit is rteal music mate!

  • @drugger18 And at what point did you decide someone else's specialty? For all you know his specialty is cooking. He can do what he likes with his band.

  • @drugger18 Soft Crap? Corey was on Stone Sour to "show the softer side in his music" and was with Slipknot as a form of bringing out something harder. Slipknot was nothing more than an experiment band, too bad for you there's no more slipknot though huh? :'( So if you call this "soft crap" all you're doing is insulting corey and what him and the rest of the stone sour band wanted to actually do for a long time, which was make this album. They all said that this was the album they wanted to make

  • @drugger18 Soft crap is what is coming out of your mouth right now. Corey is capable of singer virtually anything you have a problem with his album go produce two albums where you do as told and then you receive creative license for a third album. You'll do what you want wouldn't and that is what Corey did with this album he made it his own his heart and soul.

  • @Dedman384

'soft crap is what's coming out of your mouth right now' made me spit my water out.. liked that alot ;)

  • @soldierside365 thanks man

  • @drugger18 Who are you to say what Corey's 'specialty' is? He's creating beautiful, life-changing music, no matter what band he is working with. Besides, dude; Slipknot needs some time to cope with Paul's death. So just chill.

  • @drugger18 also unless you didnt realise he is still in slipknot. and yeah he's specialty isnt anything you know of

  • @drugger18 you're so ignorant

  • @drugger18 corey is still in slipknot but he wanted stone sour to show off his melodic vocals and if you have listened to slipknot songs such as snuff and vermillion pt2 he has an amazing voice! you need to check your facts and understand there is more to corey taylor than screaming

  • @drugger18 dude, i understand your point there, but that is only your opinion. There are many people who prefer this style to slipknot. Also, as far as money goes, by doing this the crowd of people who like slower music is also buying his albums...meaning he gets that much more money...i think that would be a good incentive for anyone.

  • @drugger18 Now imma let you know that corey was in stone sour since 1992 and he founded it and hes been in slipknot since 1997... now dont get me wrong i love slipknot but stone sour is coreys home and hes been soft way before he went heavy in slipknot....i love both bands the same...the thing thats great about corey is his ability to go from soft to medium to heavy..so shut the fuck and like that one guy said, you have no right to decide what his speciality is

  • @TheTrickedBag FINALLY!!! Someone informs people about Corey being in Stone Sour before Slipknot. I agree with you, I also love both bands the same for their own respective styles but Stone Sour is not Slipknot and people need to understand the lyrical genius that is Corey Taylor and what he is capable of.

So thank you for stating it, I now know that I am not the only one who tells people which band, of the two, came first for Corey.
