  • For anyone planning to get the HF5, I shall aware you.

These things will reveal distortion, crackles, artifacts, soft noises, etc. Shit you don't want to hear in the recording is made apparent. Revealing is an understatement. Srs.

  • I absolutely love my etymotic mc5. Amazing instrument seperation and isolation.

  • music is way too loud.

  • PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME PLEASE,

between the Shure se215, Etymotic hf5, Bose ie2, or anything close to 120$, what should I go for?

the sound quality is the first thing I care about and I usually listen to Smooth Jazz music

    THANKS SO MUCH

  • @Moraud5386 did you ever pick which ones to get? i also had this battle but i took out the bose ones and only left with the etymotics and the shures. right now im leaning towards these since they look more comfortable

  • @Android80631 dude, I bought a sennheiser ie8 which was 3 times more expensive that I thought I was gonna spend. All the forums says that it was the best or at worst the second best earphone in the world.....and when I get it I wasn't even impress with the sound quality even after burning it for about 60h. It was good though but not amazing as I was expecting so I decided to return them. How are your bose doing? I tried the bose qc15 and I was pretty satisfied so I think I gonna go with that

  • @Moraud5386 i dont have em,but ive heard of some headphones called the stretch by phillips and they sounded better than the sennheisers hd224 or something, but i just asked cause right now i dont know if i should get shure se215 or the etymotic hf5.

  • @Android80631 go for the etymotic, the shure is really good in term of sound quality but according to all reviews I've read, it doesn't last that long (6 - 8 months). In the other hand, the etymotic which is build in kevlar is pretty tough, very very confortable and has a nice sound quality

  • @Android80631 Two different sounds. If you don't like heavy bass, go for the Etymotic HF5. Very clear sounding and excellent isolation. Shure tends to be bloated. Ignore these people who rely on online reviews. Most of them are paid, and if they're not, the reviewers generally tend to give positive reviews even for a mediocre product because they spent money on it.

  • I'm watching this video using the MC5s right now :D can't even hear myself typing

  • very annoying music

  • @TheVerySpecialThommy annoying to a casual listener but to an engaged listener its quite enjoyable

  • what is the body made of ?

  • @TechSmack Plastic with a soft-touch matte coating.

  • @SchneiderStudios Thanks :D

  • Those are nice earphones, but the don't have much bass. I hope the mc5 will have more lows.

  • Those are some amazing looking earbuds! I'm loving the color and the unusual ear tips.

  • @reviewerboy123 Actually it's the opposite.

  • @SchneiderStudios These are under priced pieces of awesomeness!!

  • Cool
