At this time i want to say that Patrick Walden is one of the best guitarists the world has ever seen. Of corse there are a few better ones like Jimi Hendrix. But this guy improvises every tune which comes out from his guitar. He never plays a song in the same way, thats very amazing what kind of "tune-systems" must exist in his head.

There are a lot of guitarists who can play very fast and well, but they'll never be able to improvise such as good as Patrick Walden.

Pat left because he got clean while Babyshambles still weren't (Pete, Drew, Kate, etc.). He has now formed a new band with the original Babyshambles drummer Seb Rochford, but there's no hard feeling towards Pete and co.

Why were they playing without Pete? They did very well anyway; it just goes to show that they're great musicians and performers with or without Pete. This song (8 Dead Boys) is actually pretty good, and definitely very overlooked. And to those who are talking about Walden - what makes you think he would come back to the Babyshambles? It is my understanding that he LEFT the band - he wasn't thrown out or asked to leave. But I may be wrong??
