Awesome video but I still have one question. If you pick up the weapon and hold on to it with no ammo is the minimum timer still 2 minutes? Like, for example, if I pick up the sniper at 1:00 and then empty it at 1:30 will the sniper respawn immediately after I drop it, since it's out of ammo, or will I have to wait for the 2 minutes until it's 3:00?

@brownsupafly117 you will have to wait the 2 minutes, thats how the spawn timer works. But what controls when it respawns if you hold it after the 2 minutes period, is there is an option in forge that allows you to set how many can be on the map at one time. So if i set the max count to 2 snipers at 2 minutes a second sniper would spawn guarunteed.

If holding on to a weapon causes it to not spawn, then is there some sort of glitch for the sword? Now as far as i know theres only one sword on Count Down but more then once on a few different game types (most annoying on team doubles) Iv noticed 2 sword on the map. And no there where no black screens. Have you ever experienced some thing like this?

@niekon2600 its probably the spawn setting have been set to allow for more than 1 sword at a time, considering the sword isnt that big of a power weapon in my opinion.

I've held onto the sniper before w/out ammo and had it respawn on hemorrhage. Usually I have to exchange it, but every now and again Halo decides to give me more ammo in the form of a new rifle.

im writing this at the begining of thwe vid so dont be hatin if he says it. but down to the point. the trouble i have is the spawning itself... from a glance i would of thought that the inter spawn was were you starts the match from (depending on the team) but whenever i test play map it dosent work. the spawns do nothing. i just spawn at somewhere else like by the beach or in that concealed box liek area. please could you tell me where ive gone wrong. because i have just tried everything...

@TannerTheGamer My mistake if your team's power weapon is laying on the ground with full ammo remaining, and an opposing player runs over it while holding the same weapon they can store the ammo and after 30 seconds the sniper left on the ground will return to spawn point on schedule after 30 seconds i believe because when a weapon is picked up and not used, then dropped it will respawn in 30 seconds. idk its complicated and i play matchmaking,but make my own maps(which are good and reasonable)

@StarBlade226 I don't know if you've figured it out because that comment is 4 months of old, but if you haven't what I think you're reffering is to where you spawn at the begginning of the game. You need to place down enough initial spawns for everyone, spawn points don't choose where you first spawn, thats what initial spawns are for.

@TannerTheGamer this is a map with a neutral sniper it is not assigned to either team and thaats why it will not respawn when it is on your back, theres many different factors in reach tgry doing a map where there is red and blue snipers

@kcarter1018 I did a follow-up on Asylum in the description. A power weapon will not respawn unless it is empty and exchanged for a new weapon or left laying on the ground for 30 seconds. If you say you've seen the same power weapon spawn again while holding it, then you are not playing team competitive.

@Himtion Yea, usually when I go black screen the weapons respawn again but not everytime. I'm not sure what dictates it but it seems that anytime the host is changed in game the weapons will always spawn again.

@SkullInfector I am not sure about vehicles. I am not a big vehicle person and rarely use them but I would have to assume that they follow the same type of rules as the weapons because a Scorpion won't come up until it is destroyed first. That's why you won't ever see 3 scorpions on Hemorredge.

I have one question though, If you take YOUR sniper in Asylum, use up all the ammo, then take the OPPONENTS sniper ammo, which sniper, if any, will spawn since it's your sniper but it's your opponents ammo?
