I don't really know how he did this, but I think the background (the room) is one layer. The cloth and the original background was blue or whatever color (works as a bluescreen).
Great effect! Either you used a green or blue sweater, or you just did your best at mask painting your sweater... However in low light conditions like that, it's kinda hard. But still I congrats to you.
