  • este tipo fue mi profe de artes plasticas !!! arriba el ccc chingau !

  • He german is really really good and he's a great Don José <3

    Thanks for posting

  • es maravilloso este tipo, una gran mente, muy inteligente y sabe lo ke kiere con su carrera, felicidades villazon!

  • Lady: Well, you´re mexican an you´re well known because of your passionateness, or, as i say, because of your hot-blooded

charakter. How much of your personality takes part in "your" Don Jose?

  • to pjwdfn...you are dumb. I will not insult you by making references to sterotyps that just might fit. Why don't you enjoy his great voice and ability to speak several languges in a very convincing manner. For sure, his Gewrman is better than mine.

  • Villazon: I try to find everything that i (personally) can contribute to this part. And, for sure, im looking for what Bizet wrote.

I have very much respect for this genius who wrote this music. My work is, as i said, to find out whats´ inside there

that i can make new or different (???). And...yes...we have a...it is not a traditional production and this makes it easier to find new colours in this charakter, in this music.

  • Interview:

Lady: Rolando Villazon, in this production its the first time for you in your entire career that you´re singing the part of Don Jose. How did you approach such an popular charakter in the history of opera?

  • Translation:

The mexican Rolando Villazon isn´t just an outrageous tenor, he is a very gifted actor, too.

During the alteration for the second act you have the opportunity to get to know the 34 years old Rolando Villazon better.

Since 6 years he is one of the most wanted tenors in the world and among the many prices he has already won counts this year a grammy, too.

For me it was a great honor to meet him in his very hot garderobe (???).

  • Garderobe? Very funny. In the Middle Ages, castles had garderobes, and they weren't closets for hanging robes either.

  • Do you understand what he`s talking about? ^^

  • Thanks from me, too. It was very thoughtful of you to include a translation. I wish more people who upload interviews done in languages other than English would take pity on those of us who are fluent in only that language and include a translation.

  • En alemán y también lo he visto en un programa de Francia hablar libremente en Francés!! Beyond borders!!!!!

  • ¿dónde diablos aprendió a hablar alemán?

su talento no solo es el bel canto

  • Thank you for the video and the translation. :)
