All I know is we ran the ball 3x more than we passed it (61 - 21) and that we didn't pass it AT ALL in the 4th, and I think only 3 times in the whole second half. Our backup RB carried it 24 times.

When we were down 21-0 I thought "if we can just get a first down, we'll slow this game down and maybe keep it respectable." There was a nice play and we almost picked up the first down, but tricky ol' McNeal put enough on the ball to go through a steel wall, not to mention a reciever's hands. This is what happens when you piss OU off. We don't win every single game we play...nobody does, but we usually get revenge on teams that beat us. There's not a more impressive "W" in college football than one over OU. There's a mystique about us that not even Notre Dame has. Our current hit list includes LSU,USC,TCU,Oregon,and Boise State. These 5 need a good a@# rippin. Good luck next time you play us fellas!

here's my opinion: if oklahoma were to play LSU, lsu would win by a small amount. and vs. oregon: oklahoma would win, the ducks just cant do it. and vs USC: usc would probably win. they have awesome QBs, insane defense, loaded backfield. vs TCU: oklahoma would for sure win. vs. Boise State: if they were to play again, oklahoma would probably win.

All I know is we ran the ball 3x more than we passed it (61 - 21) and that we didn't pass it AT ALL in the 4th, and I think only 3 times in the whole second half. Our backup RB carried it 24 times.
If you don't want to get beat by 77, gain more than 54 yards. Mark Clayton caught 6 passes and scored 3 TD's. You want to win, learn to tackle, something... but don't come crying on YouTube when your team's lack of good becomes immortalized with a Ministry tune as the backdrop.

This brings back memories of Tennessee 42 Auburn 0 in '82. Tenn WRs were Sam Gaddy and Willie Gault and Auburn had at least one white CB. It was ugly. I can't even fathom how bad 77-0 must have been.

When we were down 21-0 I thought "if we can just get a first down, we'll slow this game down and maybe keep it respectable." There was a nice play and we almost picked up the first down, but tricky ol' McNeal put enough on the ball to go through a steel wall, not to mention a reciever's hands. So we went three and out, again. And that's when I knew it was all over.
I mean, at the time it sucked but looking back it's damn interesting to see a 77-0 game.

J. White won a Heisman Trophy with two bad knees, 70+ touchdown passes, 63% completion percentage. I would say he was the best QB OU ever had. What good QB has never played a bad game? Name one.

NO NO NO I'm sayign he was a great QB during the regular season Yeah... I totally respect him for him coming in and fighting through the knee injuries completing all those but it's so bad that his worst games and biggest blunders came in the big games... White was a great QB but Jimmy Harris was way better, he was a winner, he led the sooners in most of the games in our NCAA record 47 game win streak.
