QUESTION... I love the sliderz my friends always get scared by you guys! Im workin at a haunted house this year and I want to be a slider! I have metal cut and bent to the shape of my knee... What did you do? Get knee pads for bikes and glue metal to them? and whats in your hands that are sparkin? Please get back at me thanks!
@claresa72794 It's actually not metal. If you use metal on your knees you'll find that you won't go very far at all. Metal has a very, very high friction coefficient which is why it sparks so easily. What we use is actually sections of 6"-8" wide, grey PVC pipe cut into thirds and attached to hockey pads with zip-ties. This set-up can be difficult to make but it works on most types of pavement and will last a very long time. Hope that helps!
no offense but this is bad too many slider in one little area and bad knee pad's for sliding and whats up with the wooden sticks we use gloves to make noise with our knee pads and dont all slide into the scare that ruins it
@KnottsScaryFarmRuler we dont have wooden sticks we have metal poles, we have different equipment then you guys (not our choice) sorry you don't approve. Whats wrong the kneepads? We can slide very far with these. This is just one area of the night, we slide everywhere else and at night even if were close to each other they can barely see us until we scare them. Or we will use a pinball effect which works very well.
@KnottsScaryFarmRuler These pads are excellent for sliding on the type of ground that paves Busch. We have tried your equipment and it is not effective on the ground we work with.
