It's alright. But one of the main things about Lose Yourself was it's sense of flow that made it great. while the beat was pretty much dead on, the repetition of the Battle Theme killed the flow a little and made it harder to get into. The exception is the perfect change around 2:30 or so, into the less used part of the melody. That, i feel, was perfectly placed.

All in all, an alright mix and an intriguing idea.

At first while listening to this song, I thought that it was horribly out of sync. I kept listening, and suddenly at around 2:33, the two songs sounded perfectly in sync and like they actually fit each other. I repeatedly listened to the song and I soon found out that this is because: during 2:33 the FFVII music is slower and has a more easily discernible beat. In the rest of the song, pretty much all of the notes aren't played exactly on the beat. whereas Eminem's notes are.
