That is actually a "good" crash. Car continues to go forward, pieces shred, and energy slowly dissipates. Easier on the driver. Safer than hitting a wall and experiecing instantaneous deceleration. That's how you get seriously injured or killed.

It looks spectacular but the car flipping and falling apart like that is actually a very safe way of crashing. All the energy is lost with the debris so the driver remains protected. High speed + sudden stop crashes like Luciano Burti at Spa 2001 are far more dangerous.
