Can someone please explain to me...my ears pricked up when Swamiji mentioned the "idols energized by Guru Gobind Singh"... does that mean he believes Guru Gobind Singh ji to be enlightened/a true guru, and on top of that, which idols where energized by Singh ji? As Sikhism is anti - idol worship. Is he just talking about the symbols like kirpan etc ?

I attended this amazing event in 2007 for one week.. It was very peaceful, mostly friendly, altho being outsiders..there were thieves we fell prey to a couple times..

some of the gurus egos were amazing..many were very pure and wonderful..I was so comfortable in giant crowds..strangers would aim my camera towards "the Guru'.. there were child teachers, fabulous sounds coming from all over.. the river scene at 4a.m. 5 times..we went on a boat a few times.. it was very orderly and peaceful.

The Gita is not the only book considered Hindu, I believe someone it is mentioned (probably the linga purana or some other shiva book....) that Shiva loves to smoke it.
