As a person who distrusts CNN and mainstream media in general though, I have to wonder to what extent he is allowed to say what he can. I wonder sometimes if there's something going on he wishes to cover but maybe CNN wouldn't let him. But yes, he's the best they've got. I trust him even more than Wolf Blitzer.
Anderson Cooper is one of the most honest people ever. I saw his interview with Sen. Landrieu from Lousiana after Hurricane Katrina and then I saw his Keeping them honest segment dealing with the ongoing patient dumping problem in L.A. Most boring person in CNN honors would easily go to Lou Dobbs.

As for Anderson Cooper ... wasn't ever such a great fan of his. He does some good reporting but some times he comes off a little over the top and pompus/overly dramatic.
I saw you on anderson cooper 360 after the debate, and i have to say... he seemed rather... taken with you. haha. That was a really cool debate and a really good "after debate thingy," and i did like Bill Richerson's answer to your question.
It's cool that Anderson knew who you were. Perhaps he isn't as self-centered as I thought :) - It's also cool that they used a question from you, although Gov. Richardson's answer was less than satisfactory. The real problem is that elections are viewed and operated as a local enterprise rather than a national endeavor.
