I have a 250 Gb 7200 RPM barracuda and its and awesome HD.Its scores 6.9 on my windows experience index.very VERY good HD.

running 3 of these in RAID and couldnt be happier. Pick up a 250GB version for about 45 bucks at tiger or the egg (if they are carrying it that month)

Fuck! i bought a barracuda 500GB a few months ago, but didnt use it...its lying in my closet.. is this whats gonna happen to it?

i have the 7200.10 version. is it bad?

should i return it? :\

if not, then should i update its firmware? :\

@eladbari 7200 rpm is good, probably better than the one you have, you want atleast 16mb of cache.

Thanks buddy, I'm getting 6 of these for RAID0. Is 4 HD the max you can do RAID0? or can I do all 6? Or maybe I'll do 4 and 2 on RAID0. I've never done over 2 HD on RAID0. This time I want to do 6... thanks
