as a field operator i find its more about being a positive role model in your videos then what your getting out of it,hey i shoot my marker in my back yard with no mask on but iam not video taping it for the world to watch.when i shot my marker infront of others ill put my mask on not because its safe but because it set a good example for other player to follow,there are to many idiots out there watching us

Yea its really just stupidity... My paintball gun jammed an I took off my mask ... I look down the barrel and pushed on the paintball that was jammed and shot myself in the middle of my forehead lol ... Keep your ****ing mask on or learn the hard way ...

no one has ever had an injury form a paintball while playing paintball while playing with a mask and shooting under 300 fps, just saying. i love the people who complain about the grenades that go in launchers that shoot 4 paintballs. they are wildly inaccurate and are well under marker velocity.

at the field i go to, if we see a person take their mask off, we yell at them to put it back on...and if they do it the second time, its a time out for 1 game...and if it happens again...he's kicked off the field...we try to take care of the noobs to make sure they stay safe.

@Robot0Ninja there are good parents, but it's not really their fault if the child refuses to listen...parents are there to help guide and protect the child as much as possible, but its up to the child if he/she is willing to accept or refuse what is being taught.

@azntactical true. but most of the time when you see some idiot 10 year old running around the paintball field with his mask off all the time during games, its usually the parents fault for not teaching about safety.

@Robot0Ninja true. that is why young kids need to go with an adult who has a really good paintball background. a dad or mom may play, but if its their first time, they may not react right away even though they have gone through the safety brief. you may be to concentrated on what is happening in a fire fight and forget about the little things that matter after being shot and such. so, its part of the parent/guardian to tell them and remember the rules, but majority is up to that kid to follow.

The rules on the paintball field are for the protection of the player and the field owner. Safety is a necessity in this kind of an uncontrolled environment. When self respecting, self disciplined, and mature people shoot any kind of a gun in a CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT there is no danger of getting hurt. Does this set a bad example for impressionable kids? Maybe if they're really, really stupid. I think the idiot parents who raised this child should be sued instead.

Let all the parents' of those stupid kids that watch our videos and still manage to shoot themselves in the face...don't question the responsiblity of the makers of the video. How the hell can they manage to account for all the viewers intentions. There are good veterans out there than can take look out for the newbies. JUST LISTEN TO THEM!!
