for outside of the foot ive found its better to not just hit it with your outside of your foot, but to hit it like you normally would, just coming across the ball, towards your body, so your not using the outside of your foot so much as you are just coming across the ball, hitting it at an angle therefore giving it spin. ive found it also curves alot more when done properly

Umm, do you have a problem with that statement? By "move" he clearly means having the ball curl through the course of the shot vs just going straight. Not unlike in baseball where you say "how much movement does the pitcher have on his pitches?".
