I like watching cooking shows, but they use stuff I've never heard of, or that isn't carried in our stores. I'll be preparing some of your meals real soon! Thanks hun!

  • Looks tasty. I don't even know if they sell crawfish, where I'm residing... but one day I might taste some crawfish. I can't wait to start cooking. Praise God. Thumbs up and good job ~

  • Canned soup! Forget it! That is not cooking.

  • I know I've watched this video a couple times, but I just noticed when you say one clove of garlic, you meant bulb of garlic!

  • Uhhhh.this is not how you cook crawfish/crayfish (depending on if living in the north or south). cream of mushroom soup= absolute no-no.

  • @dagawood Everyone cooks different she said this is the way "she" cooks her crawfish.

  • i saw it and i like it^^.

  • Where's your roux?

  • OMG!!! After watching this video I had to go buy the ingredients and make this myself. When I tell you I had to step back and slap myself because this came out sooooo good. I did add a can of diced tomatoes with green chiles along with the three cans of cream of mushrooms.Thank you Ateyaaa I love you for this and keep the videos coming.

  • Gurl I tried this recipe and the hubby and kids loved it thanx this is definitely one to add to the recipe file by the way for people who cant purchase Tony Chacheres here is the recipe:

    26 oz Salt

1 1/2 oz Black pepper; ground

    2 oz Red pepper; ground

    1 oz Garlic powder; pure

    1 oz Chili powder

    1 oz MSG

  • Oh!! I love Tony C's...does it have MSG in it????? I really hope not, but the label doesn't say too much.

  • Thanks!!! I am going to try this very soon. It looks so yummy.

  • Can you substitute cream of celery instead of cream of mushroom?

  • Yes, just reduce the amount salt or Tony Chacheres because Celery naturally has sodium.

  • umm i could smell it right now...im so hungry..ohh ateyaaa it looks so good..i cant eat seafood..but it looks good

  • great work hun :)

  • Don't eat parsley stems...next time save them to make stock or for soups. trim the leaves off then chop them really fine (mince) put them in a kitchen towel and rinse it under cold water and then squeeze all the excess water out...let it air dry slighty and then add to your final plating at the end as a garnish don't let it simmer.

  • Well, you can eat parsley stems if you want to. Your way of preparing parsley is just another way to do it for all you people who'd like to try it either way

  • DAMN WIFEY MATERIAL

  • Comment removed

  • OMG I was mortified at the Cream of Mushroom, I'm from Louisiana and if you don't cook Cajun food right down here, you get slapped! LOL, but it does look good the way you made it. I gotta have my roux though. I buy the Zatarain's brand. They make EVERYTHING right.

  • Okay I'm from California, so what is Tony Chachere? (seasoning salt, mrs. dash?) And where, do I find crawfish?

I live in Missouri now and I don't think I've seen crawfish in the supermarkets, even here. I'd like to make the recipe. HELP?

  • Hi well I am from Louisiana and Tony Chachere's is a sesoning mix from here and all it is : Salt, red pepper, garlic and silicon (to stop caking), and other spices that we dont know because if we did they would sell they're product . And for the crawfish tails if you cant find them you may have to order them?

  • tony chachere is a seasoning. its the best seasoning ever =] . idk where you would be able to find crawfish around there bc its not as popular as it is here in the south . look up tonys on the web, you may find something

  • looks good

  • Damn I want to marry this girl =)

  • IS SHE SINGLE? I WONDER

  • That looked so good! now Was that a whole bulb of garlic?? cuz it looked like a lot more than a clove...and where the heck do you buy a pack of crawfish if you live up north like seattle?ha

  • If you don't like the mushrooms, you can use cream of celery. That way you don't have to cut much celery. But prefer cream of shrimp if you can find it. I use 1 can cream of shrimp 2 cans cream of celery. I also do a blonde roux.

  • Damnnnnn now I was all with it until the veggies came into play...I hate onions and peppers and celery ..It makes me gag I think they are gross..I also cant stand mushrooms so I cant make this recipe..Im a lil upset but it looked good! I just couldnt get past the onions & peppers & mushrooms ....I love your cooking videos though

  • Get it Teya..I am alergic to shellfish (sad especially since I am from New Orleans) so I do chicken etoufee but I'm sure my ol'man would appreciate this dish. That Tony's Satch is a beast. I get some everytime I go home because they don't have it here in Virginia.

  • Ateya, could the crawfish be replaced with shrimp, would it taste just as good?

  • YES AND ITS JUST AS GOOD!
