But when i started to read "Al-Fatiha" "The opening" "bismi-llahi ar-raḥmani ar-raḥimi" it is counted as a verse, even when the rest of the surahs dont do this,
why is the first surah is like that? why does the individual who leads the prayer skip this part out?
Bismi-llahi-ar-rahmani-ar-rahim means i begin in the name of God (llah), the most Gracious (rahman), the most merciful (rahim). You can utter it whenever you're about to begin anything, from riding a bike to eating your food, not just when reading the first surat's. It is not included at the beginning of other surahs because it is assumed that the reader will begin in the name of God before he reads one of God's surahs.
When you're praying, the first sura you read is suratul Fatiha which begins with that famous verse. This verse is assumed to cover the reading of the second sura of the prayer, so it would be redundant to say again, "I begin in the name of God..." There is no sin in saying that, however.
And, here's the transliteration of the first five verses of suratul baqara. Feel free to google my words to check for plagiarism. Or, if you want, pick any other verses from any sura in the entire quran (I have it memorized), and I will give you an english transliteration. Bismillahirahmani rahim (not the first verse, but as is customary to what I'm about to do), Ar-rahman (1), alamal qur'an(2), khalaqal insaan(3), allama ulbayaaan(4), ashamsu walqamaru bi husbaan(5).
It would be convenient to believe I didn't have it memorized, afterall, how could someone who had memorized Allah's work suddenly stopped believing? Well, granted, I had quite a slip of memory there. This still doesn't change my point that I have a great deal of familiarity with Islam, more so than most people Muslims are willing to accept.

If you need further proof as well, message me your yahoo and request I read ANY aya of any surah in the Quran. I only ask that you read me the aya preceeding the one you want, to help with my recollection. I did, in fact, memorize the Quran by 14, and should still retain a substantial amount of it (I'm not that old yet, lol).

It was the opposite of paradise. It was an islamic country (Iran) trying to defend itself from the secular Iraq (yes Iraq was secular during Saddam. Then it turned into a holy war when Saddam wanted to cease fire. The Iranians did not accept it, because they thought they could make the Shia community in Iraq to rise up against Saddam and create a similar revolution in Iraq as in Iran. Even this is simplified, but your version, although very appealing, is worse than idiots guide to Iran-Iraq war.

However, I think the biggest shame in scandinavia today is that parties like svenske demokratarna, and Fremskrittspartiet are gaining popularity by using the peoples fear of muslims and immigrants. These parties at one hand want to stop immigration, but on the other hand also want to destroy the foundation (velferdsstaten) that the scandinavian countries are built upon. I really like the scandinavian countries, the people, and its culture, and I hope it will not be destroyed.

Fascism and hatred only creates further problems, and it makes militant Islam grow. The only way I see that can create solutions is to create institutions that makes it easier for liberal muslims to take a bigger part in society. But how, I don't know.

From what I have read, Allah tells the man that the female is a trust from Allah given to man to be his partner and that he must take proper care of her, and he will find comfort in her, and she, in him. Just as children are put in our care by God, and we are entrusted to raise them to benefit society and believe and recognise their creator. A lot of us abuse these positions of trust through neglect or oppression.

so basically i wanted to know In the beginning of every surah in the quran there is "bismi-llahi ar-raḥmani ar-raḥimi" if im correct.
But when i started to read "Al-Fatiha" "The opening" "bismi-llahi ar-raḥmani ar-raḥimi" it is counted as a verse, even when the rest of the surahs dont do this,
why is the first surah is like that? why does the individual who leads the prayer skip this part out?

Bismi-llahi-ar-rahmani-ar-rahim means i begin in the name of God (llah), the most Gracious (rahman), the most merciful (rahim). You can utter it whenever you're about to begin anything, from riding a bike to eating your food, not just when reading the first surat's. It is not included at the beginning of other surahs because it is assumed that the reader will begin in the name of God before he reads one of God's surahs.

When you're praying, the first sura you read is suratul Fatiha which begins with that famous verse. This verse is assumed to cover the reading of the second sura of the prayer, so it would be redundant to say again, "I begin in the name of God..." There is no sin in saying that, however.

And, here's the transliteration of the first five verses of suratul baqara. Feel free to google my words to check for plagiarism. Or, if you want, pick any other verses from any sura in the entire quran (I have it memorized), and I will give you an english transliteration. Bismillahirahmani rahim (not the first verse, but as is customary to what I'm about to do), Ar-rahman (1), alamal qur'an(2), khalaqal insaan(3), allama ulbayaaan(4), ashamsu walqamaru bi husbaan(5).

It would be convenient to believe I didn't have it memorized, afterall, how could someone who had memorized Allah's work suddenly stopped believing? Well, granted, I had quite a slip of memory there. This still doesn't change my point that I have a great deal of familiarity with Islam, more so than most people Muslims are willing to accept.

If you need further proof as well, message me your yahoo and request I read ANY aya of any surah in the Quran. I only ask that you read me the aya preceeding the one you want, to help with my recollection. I did, in fact, memorize the Quran by 14, and should still retain a substantial amount of it (I'm not that old yet, lol).

And because I'm not the first to attempt an english transliteration of those verses (there are millions of english speaking muslims who have internet), some of my translations will yield some google results, and others won't (verse 5 for example). This is probably because I have attached different english alphabets to capture the arabic pronunciations. If you need further convincing, let me know, and I will read the Quran to you myself on yahoo messenger voice.

If you're wondering why, after all I supposedly know about this religion called Islam, I have still chosen to leave, then honestly I don't know where to begin. But a good book that contains many of the ex-muslim arguments against Islam is "Why I am not a Muslim" by Ibn Warraq. I only just finished it myself (started 2 months ago-i'm a college student so I don't have a lot of time :p ), but its a fairly good articulation of many of our (as in,ex-muslims like the author) arguments against Islam.
