  • The only benefit she's going to get from eating meat/dairy/eggs is future heart disease, colon cancer, high cholesterol, diabetes, osteoporosis, etc. Why does she think heart disease is the number-one killer in the USA? Silly girl.

  • @monkeyshine59 eating meat is only as bad for you as you make it

    same for vegetables and fruit

in my opinion i think it's very unhealthy to go on a vegan diet

it depends on your body's personal needs

vegan meals are not balanced enough for my system

  • @monkeyshine59 P.S. she said health issues so you are insulting her for trying to be healthy?

  • Her laugh is amazing.

  • @82Bdog- your talking about dogma yet your the 1 taking it 2 the extreme. All these long lived cultures didn't consume 100 percent vegan diets. As u even stated yourself. Having animal products once a week or even once a monthisn'tveganism. There's a damn good reason why they still ate these foods even if it was as rarely as u claim (which I don't was the case) the hunzda eat animal foods a few times a week. Yet vegans like u tend 2 use them and others as proof veganism is healthy

  • What u vegans fail 2 understand is a vegan diet doesn't work 4 every 1. Just like low carb doesn't work 4 every 1 or any other way of eating. There is 1 certainty tho. There's never been 1 recorded healthy vegan civilization. Every culture has included atleast some animal products. Veganism is a new age trend that will thankfully die out eventually because you'll eventually run into health problems. It can't sustain generations of healthy people. It never has and it never will

  • @2121timmyg i could understand vegetarians half way but vegans are just unreasonable especialy the ones who act better then others

  • Good for her! She was only a vegan for a couple of years, so her health wasn't damaged too bad. One can tell she was raised on animal products because of her great bone structure.

  • Good for her for being honest!!!! I too was vegan and was not healthy and went back to eating meat. Grass fed sustainable meat. Great book to read is "Primal Body, Primal Mind" very good info

  • She is so damn cute!

  • WTF is this shit?

Again this egoistic way of speaking. People you have to stop.

Every person has a free will and can eat whatever he/she wants. As long as one stays healthy!

Plus, she is eating healthy and CARES for the animals. I don't see any wrong in this.

If she didn't mention this topic you wouldn't even know it.

  • @angelbunny225 People can be vegans if they want, but they should not have kids.

  • I and my parents always change together so I been all over the place and so have they lol' long journey! bu finally

  • You go Gennifer! that was awesome how she told the truth'

  • love ginnifer goodwin. but i just cant stand her talking about burgers and bacon and eggs. ew.

  • I can't believe all the vegan bullsh*t on here. I used to be vegan, and the 'boring health issues' I had almost killed me. I'm still trying to recover from it. Why aren't there more people cheering because she's alive? Better yet, if she were your sister, you would be telling her to eat whatever the hell she has to eat to get better, or would you still be PMSing about it all.

  • I think Ginnifer is so adorable and the amounts of dislikes on this is ridiculous!

  • Stay vegan even though you're falling apart! She was vegan and sick, now she's not vegan and is well. It's pretty simple.

  • I like to collect the tears from all the sad animals, if you reduce it down with some fresh onions it makes a great sauce to dip my chicken-bacon-burger-dog in. Yummy yummy yummy I got animal tears in my tummy! But on a serious note all vegans have tiny shrunken brains from lack of B-Vitamins...it's science (which vegans can't understand, of course, because of the whole tiny shrunken brain thing).

  • Nobody said they're better than you. Sure it was her choice to be vegan and it was also her choice to not be vegan anymore. She can eat whatever the fuck she wants. But when she sits there and makes fun of other vegans and goes along with his stupid fucking jokes. That's where the problem is. She is being completely disrespectful and taking a shit all over people who live a vegan lifestyle. Also fuck her "boring health issues". That's the biggest load of shit.

  • Is this the girl from Kickass?

  • why are people so dogmatic about food? Being dogmatic about anything dosn't work.....being flexible does.

  • veganism and being a vegetarian is a privilege of the 1st world. Go to somalia... i wonder how many of these cunts are out there

  • Take note vegans! This is a wealthy actress that has the best nutritionist and food money can buy. Veganism is a great tool to cleanse and detox. But it is not a long term diet. It will lead to deficiencies and hormone issues. It is possible that if you do it 100% correct it can work for you. But regardless it is a new age experiment. No culture throughout human history was vegan. So if you want to experiment on yourself that is great. But to claim this diet is the best is insanity!

  • @HappierHealthierYou Veganism can be twinkies and coke. A plant based diet with now oils or meat is the healthiest. All the longest-lived populations ate high carb-low fat plant based diets with very little meat. The okinawans (who have the most centenarians ever) ate less than 1%meat pre-1950. Also the only diet proven in peer-review studies to reverse heart disease is a high carb-lowfat plant based diet (no meat or oils, all whole foods). Dr's ornis and esselstyn both

  • @82Bdog did this. So yes many people who stop eating meat are unhealthy because they don't eat whole foods and they eat way too much fat.

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou Not true are genes are closer to primates which can also meat but it's not a main calorie source and usually not thought of unless they are starving. The difference between us and primates is are saliva produces 3-5% more amylase than them which is specifically for digesting starch (rice, potatoes, corn, squash, etc) There's also no proof that "there were no diseases then". Heart disease is reversed on a whole foods plant based diet with no oils or meat.

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou You must be psychic if you knew what they were eating? No you're not gonna reverse your heart disease eating broccoli and bison. Only a high carb LOW FAT plant based diet is proven to reverse heart disease and if you eat meat it would have to be very very little to keep the overall fat low in the diet or that disease may come back. As I said veganism can mean all kinds of thing when it comes to diet but eating whole foods is the best for humans.

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou You ate no oils?? The fact that you brought up daniel vitalis shows you got alot to learn. The guy doesn't use any credible studies to back up any of the b.s he spews and he tells people a bunch of crap to make them think they need his garbage products. This guy would never debate someone like jeff novick or dr.mcdougall. Who said anything about being fruitarian? By the way he admitted to eating very very little calories when eating that way.

  • @82Bdog He also said when he was "raw" his staples were kale and coconut and/or olive oil. There's even vids on youtube debunking that scammer. Him and david wolfe say the craziest things. Give jeff novick and dr.mcdougall's sites a looks and novick has a section on mcdougall's forum where he answere questions. Feel free to ask him about some of vitalis's claims.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou ??? All I'm saying is that extraordinary claims must be backed with proof and vitalis makes alot of claims with no proof to back his words. I've already seen his vids and if you believe his words you are falling for nothing but dogma. I follow people that can back up what they say with peer-review studies. Judge by results not by theory. Yes I would eat meat if it was proven that we needed it (I ate meat most of my life), but it's not.

  • @82Bdog One thing that is proven is that the longest-lived populations who got the least heart disease and major cancers that the western world gets studied ate very very little meat and starch was always the staple whether it be potatoes, corn, squash, grains, etc. How bout you read dr.esselstyn's book prevent and reverse heart disease and check out the starch solution by dr.mcdougall on youtube and read his forum.

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou stay ignorant bro! I gave you advice but if you don't wanna take it oh well. How long till you remove your last comment? Pathetic

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou How many times do we need to go through this? Vegan is what you don't eat not what you do eat. You never stated what you ate before. I ate low carb with lots of meat which is amateur how about you learn to spell. You deleted your comments cause you got owned and refuse to look at facts instead of paleo dogma. Banana boy?? Where in my comments did I say I ate 80/10/10?? Ruin your good youtube name??LOL I hope that was a joke

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou Yep you got owned that's why you removed your comments cause you looked so foolish. Nice fear-mongering by the way. What I eat is backed by proof and I'm not against anyone having a little meat every now and then but eating more than that is putting yourself at risk. So you think I really need the less than1% that the okinawans did to live over 100? By the way Dork your banana jokes are lame and I can't believe you actually think they're funny.

  • Comment removed

  • @HappierHealthierYou More ignorance from you. So what will I be deficient in?? Sounds like all you do is listen to fear-mongering paleo/primal b.s. Science proves what you say wrong. The sweet potatoes I get at the store have just as many nutrients as the ones they ate you fool. Most of the western world's problem don't come from deficiencies they come from eating too much of certain ones like protein and fat. Fruit bat?? More lame comments from you when I've said

  • @82Bdog more than once I don't eat a high-fruit diet. I never said anything about the longest-lived populations eating alot of fruit either cause they didn't. Starch was always the main calorie source. The okinawans is just one example as they have the most centenarians. Keep believing dogma and I'll stick to facts. Everything you say has been debunked by many. Keep believing the b.s out of vitalis's mouth if you want to lol! Now go delete more of your comments!

  • @82Bdog Where are you getting your information from?

  • @boaire there's numerous studies that show the longest-lived populations with the least heart disease and cancer eating high carb low fat diets. The okinawans got 70% of their cals from sweet potatoes

  • @82Bdog Oh, you mean Jon Robbins book? It's typical vegetarian propaganda. He highlights the rice and vegetable dishes in Okinawa but fails to mention their extensive use of fish, sea animals, and pork. And guess what the most common cooking fat in Okinawa is, lard! So no wonder they live so long. According to respected gerontologist Kazuhiko Taira, the Okinawans eat 100 grams of pork and fish per day. Good luck to you...

  • my god..... is it a crime to enjoy a burger every once in a while? its not like she is stuffing her face with meat all day! i love cute little adorable animals as much as the next person, but this is ridiculous....

  • @savmm251 "i love cute little adorable animals as much as the next person"..Yes because that's what veganism is about..

  • As I see it, when the core-vision (pre-beliefs) of the individual change where a disposition towards a vegetarian lifestyle forms naturally, then it works. An adoption of the lifestyle based on something less, will generally find the individual reverting back to a previous dietary state. Otherwise, to maintain the facade, some will band together in a cause, perhaps as a means of validating their choice.

Vegetarian 40yrs and no issues with those who eat meat.

    Mmm...Ginnifer..pretty..not edible.

  • Ginnifer Goodwin is just the cutest EVER! <3

  • i love her laugh so much <33

  • nevermind, i read the vegan section. dude, i thought this country was supposed to except others. i won't hate on vegans/vegetarians and you don't hate on people who eat meat. Deal? I respect that you take that sacrifice to save animals, but making ignorant comments about these "omnivores", which you all are (you just choose not to eat meat), is just a little over the top, becoming more like prejudice and discrimination.

  • why does this have so many dislikes? what's there to dislike?

  • I want children with her.

  • she's adorable!

  • Guys, bacon meatloaf sounds REALLY GOOD.

  • What is with all the dislikes? So she's not a vegan anymore. It was her choice to be one and her choice to stop. She didn't say anything disrespectful, she mentioned there were health issues, so chalk it up and get over it.

  • @ouran909 You know what? You're right JUST likes it's my personal choice to go out and murder your mother. Oh, you don't like that logic? Then go talk to the millions of animals of animals abused, tortured and killed because it's your "personal choice" to do so. Oh, wait. You can't because they're DEAD!

  • @ClassicSunrise ..........right.

  • @ouran909 My point is that you take for granted that it's your personal choice or "right" to eat animals. If someone decided it was their personal choice to rob a store or murder someone that doesn't mean that it's right or ethical. Do you eat dogs? They are animals. Do you eat humans? They are animals too. Of course you don't because society has made up acceptable and unacceptable "rights." Killing a pig is just fine but if I killed a dog I would be arrested. It's absurd and illogical.

  • @ClassicSunrise Well to be fair there's also the thing where animals don't talk. Also some scientists think that plants may have some kind of consciousness, so they probably all cry and wail in horrible pain while you chew them up. I guess you should just eat rocks. BTW animals don't matter and neither does the environment, which is why I drive a hummer that runs on styrofoam and mercury while I'm machine-gunning herds of endangered species (not to eat, just for fun).

  • @thefinder808 Non human animals don't speak like we do but that doesn't mean they don't communicate. Human babies and mute people don't "talk," should we kill and eat them? Plants do have vascular systems and respond to external stimuli but they are non sentient creatures and do not have nerves nor do they feel pain.

  • @ClassicSunrise Oh I'm sorry did I say I wouldn't eat anything that could communicate, or was I pointing out that in your earlier comment you suggested that ouran909 wouldn't be able to speak to the animals because they were dead. Um you can't speak to them alive...sooooo...also it offends me that you think you have the right to define sentient creatures. Plants ARE sentient and beg you to stop murdering them every time you eat them. And yes, human meat is good if you can get it.

  • @ClassicSunrise I've eaten a "mutie" in my day but it's nothing I'm proud of. Babies on the other hand are harder to get. I like how your reading comprehension is incredibly low, must be the lack of B-Vitamins has already shrunk your brain. I'm so sorry, it must be terribly knowing that if you'd just eaten those poor tiny animals you wouldn't be losing your intelligence a salad at a time. :(

  • @thefinder808 I was being facetious to make a point, as I hope you are too because, taken literally, your comment would be quite foolish.

  • @ClassicSunrise And because they lack the intelligence and vocal chords to speak

  • @ClassicSunrise hey i'm pretty sure animal abuse isn't caused because of ouran909 andchill out and go back to eating your tofu er fruitbars whatever

the day the world becomes vegan is the day ppl die mainly of nutrition issues

  • lmfao seriously?! she didn't say anything disrespectful about vegan AT ALL. she was very respectful and handled this well. people need to stop being so critical and overly sensitive. she didnt say anything rude.

  • Ok admittedly, I saw the dislikes and negative comments and was just waiting for her to say something nasty about vegan people or being a vegan, but I didn't hear a single thing that could have been considered offensive. She's not a vegan any more, people change. Move on.

  • I don't know know if I could b a vegan being a vegetarian was hard enough for me now I eat meat but being a vegetarian isn't that bad. It depends on what u cut from your eating stuff

  • The vegan community??? lmao now we have to be PC when talking about people who are vegan?! Give me a break.

  • I love Ginnifer. She's a very talented actress. Who cares if she's eating meat or not? She can change her mind like any person in this world.

  • Comment removed

  • Okay.... so what's the big deal about eating animals? THEY"RE FRIGGIN DELICIOUS!!

  • @LaurenBeelerIsHere Humans are animals. Do you eat them too?

  • @ClassicSunrise Lions are animals too. they don't eat themselves but they do the weaker ones. logic?

  • @angelbunny225 Lions don't have consciences. We do.

  • @ClassicSunrise Oh my gosh, it's so cool that you're an expert in feline psychology!

  • @MarijuanaMichelle Who said I WASN'T a vegetarian/vegan? Before you go around claiming you're better than me, get your fucking facts straight.

  • i love her laugh . soo cute

  • Oh my gosh, you guys need really need to calm down. I'm sick of vegans/vegetarians thinking their better than others. It was a personal choice for her; she's not obligated to give a heartfelt apology to you all for having an egg.

  • A pair of clueless idiots entertaining each other. Shame on you, Ginnifer Goodwin.

From her own lips: "This education about health led to a revelation about animals-as-products. It became so clear: I love animals. How can I eat them or make them suffer for something as selfish as taste or tradition?"

As for the supposed health issues, I don't buy it. She was probably not eating a balanced vegan diet and was a little anaemic or perhaps lacking in B12, big deal.

  • She's a fool.

  • SWEET !!!

Nothing short of breathtaking my deere friend

  • The fact that she says "was having some health issues THAT I DO NOT WANNA TALK ABOUT" makes me think she didn't really have them. She had some lack of compassion issues, I would call it.

  • This is the worst interview I've seen in my life. Actually, veganism is the only way Earth could properly feed 6,000,000 people.

  • she's a damn hot chick, esp. in long hair...

  • Gosh.I am so glad I am vegan afterall.

  • What's with all the dislikes?

  • Veganism is an acknowledgement of the responsibility of the individual – the recognition of our obligation to minimize the harm we cause by our existence, and to develop in ourselves the qualities necessary to become citizens of a better future; where no one is oppressed, where no one is treated as a means to an end. Sad to see Ginnifier give up the cause and in such a flippant manner.

  • Why are all vegans so absolutely anal and on the verge of a breakdown?

And why is it some people thrive while eating meat and some people dont?

Know your body type. MinuteMaid, your comments are disgraceful.

Vegans, you went wrong when you mixed up religion and diet.

  • @LycieLooo I'm around mostly omnivores (meat eaters), and certain smells kind of make me feel sick like that of cooked sausage, but I handle myself maturely and don't make a scene about it or anything. I'm not going to lie to you it does take a strong will to be vegan, but for me, just the thought of me doing my part to decrease suffering in this world makes it all worth it. P.S. There are many great substitutes for meat and even cheese, like 'Daiya shreds' and 'Gardein' products. -Matt :)

  • @LycieLooo Vegetarians will still eat dairy products and some other animal bi-products, whereas vegans will not. We (vegans), do not eat those things because the cruelty involved in obtaining those products. For example, a cow must have babies to produce milk, but then the baby will immediately be taken from it's mother and either slaughtered or raised to later be slaughtered as an adult. Also, these animals are more often then not kept in extremely confined quarters.

  • @lcuellar you got that right!

  • Wow, you vegans need to chill the fuck out.

  • Oh gees, not a vegan? hey how much vegan junk food did she eat? and btw, how is that for making fun of vegans? bunch of ignorants. Watch Forks Over Knives, you morons! Normal part of society? Jimmy Kimmel, you're also an ignorant moron.

  • Oh gees, not a vegan? hey how much vegan junk food did she eat? and btw, how is that for making fun of vegans? bunch of ignorants. Watch Forks Over Knives, you morons!

  • vegans make themselves look so bad with all their nasty comments... :(

  • @mrattackmonster Carnivores make themselves look so bad by showing no compassion to other creatures whatsoever.

  • As a person who gave up 4 years of vegetarianism (that lead to veganism) because of health issues there are legitimate reasons why plant-based proteins must be abandoned for "less ethical/more harmful" food choices. Doesn't make it easy and at least she's attempting to be a conscientious (to use your insanely dramatic word) "murderer."

Also: to become this personally worked up over a woman who in the grand scheme of things is but a blip even within the context of Hollywood is truly pathetic.

  • Is she on Hawaii Five O too, or is that someone else?

  • She can do whatever she wants but what a hypocrite and how ignorant is she to actually laugh and try to sugar coat her reasons. If it was for health reasons than she was a uneducated vegan not a healthy smart one because eating from mother earth is the heathiest of all! I hope she enjoys digesting and the REAL health issues that come with eating animals. What a weak soul that couldn't stand for something!

  • @abstracteyez Who are you to judge her? You don't know her health situation. And it's not "Mother Earth", it's just "Earth". Stop trying to anthropomorphize the planet. As you can see from all the deaths due to natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornadoes, etc.), the Earth is far from being "motherly". Veganism is nothing more than a religious-like cult that uses fear and guilt to manipulate others. No, thanks.

  • @aurayon

She is on a video airing her dirty laundry and has made her own self and her actions easy to be judge. You are also judging...so while you continue to point the finger and remain angry...3 fingers point back. It goes both ways. Anyone to put themselves in public will have to deal with what the public will think. It's "Earth" to you. To me it's "Mother Earth". Vegan is a religious-like cult as much as angry people who bark behind a pc screen.

  • lol the comments from vegans are hilarious haha

  • Geez, what's the deal with all these hate comments? Vegans are always so fucking angry.

  • @aurayon

I have always thought vegans were the happiest people!

  • @abstracteyez Apparently, they're only happy towards other vegans and animals. Anyone that falls outside those parameters are ostracized. Very cult-ish.

  • @aurayon

You're entitled to your opinion. Perhaps the vegans you met are like that but not everyone is. The ones I know including myself are trying to stand for something positive and are very happy people. What isn't a cult these days? If eating from mother earth, trying to be healthy and save animals is a cult then amen to that lol.

  • @aurayon I totally agree! They really need to calm down!!

  • @JupiterMars00 Thanks! :)

  • Let's burn the issues of Veg News with her face on the cover. But seriously, way to disrespect the vegan community.

  • Strange and sad to see that some people slide back.

  • You know, I could have tolerated her for choosing meat again but to laugh at the face of the vegan community is what really pisses me off. The way she handled this entire interview is incredibly disrespectful to everyone who's ever supported her lifestyle. Meat eater or not you have to admit that's fucked up.

  • @Michelle16812 I've read quite a few comments here and I think you've said it best. It's like she has lost all her compassion and now is making a mockery of veganism. Not just that, she's misleading people to believe that you can't obtain all your necessary vitamins and proteins through a vegan diet and that's just not true. The only thing that is hard to obtain is vitamin B12, but that can be easily remedied with 1 daily vitamin supplement. She even mocks her family., it's disgraceful.

  • @itsMinuteMaid How is she misleading people? She said she added Animal products in her food, NOWHERE did she say she was getting enough vitamins. And it's a joke if you haven't noticed on her family. Stop being so serious.

  • What a pathetic little tool. Ugh.

  • "I'm terrible, i'b terrible"

She looks like a stupid monkey. Jesus...

  • @LucasKyleNateSpinner I completely agree with you and I will not be seeing something borrowed either! It's one thing to not be Vegan because of whatever issues you have but to blatantly make fun of it, esp. when she knows the crap Vegans have to endure from people on a day to day basis. I'm just not that into Ginnifer Goodwin anymore....

  • she looked like a 15-year-old with this dress and this hair~

  • omg what an evil bitch

  • They're annoying

  • omg not a vegan anymore?? this is so depressing!! I looked up to this woman and now she sits there just laughing about eating dead animals! I wanted to see something borrowed but now i will not be seeing it!

  • she sounded like a complete air-head. "lets get some cheese in this house" - has she got a two second memory or does she not mind being completely hypocritical?

  • This video is very good. It's a clear illustration of what a stupid human looks like. Great educational tool.

  • @lilithdeSade what do you mean?

  • @theMACster1000 @theMACster1000 She made stupid comments so it serves a good lesson in what not to say/do.

  • @lilithdeSade what stupid comments did she make?

  • @lilithdeSade so is your statement.

  • No shame here English is my third language, but is nice to know thanks

  • Good for Ginnifer!

  • @omgsoy Well said, I completely agree with you. As far as we know, plants don't have nervous systems that resemble animals. Until research proves otherwise, eating a plant based diet does cause the least amount of suffering among the planet and animals.

  • @omgsoy "MINIMUM amount of suffering" - Says who? Just because you don't hear the plants' screams??? Who knows who suffers more? This is so selfish to say "I know which is the right way" as actually this knowledge is impossible to us. No offense :)

  • @olibelokapova It is a fact that plants do not have nervous systems that resemble animals. Since plants cannot move from place to place, any knowledge they might gain from the sensation of pain would be superfluous. Therefor, eating a plant based diet causes the least amount of damage and sufering to the animals and the planet.

  • @omgsoy we all kill to eat - kill plants, kill animals... Until we become plants and start living by the sunlight. Or you don't think the plants don't have soul? They don't suffer while dying slowly when picked up? Who told you they don't?

  • eewww

  • OMG this is embarrassing!

    Ginniger, this is beyond stupid!!!!

  • OMG how embarrassing!!!!

    Ginnifer, this is beyond stupid!!!

  • She has no brains. And no tits. But big-ass ears. Poor girl.

  • :O not a vegan no more :'(

  • I found this video difficult to masturbate too

  • Ginnifer, you're an obvious phony. Your "boring" health issues was a poor attempt at justification for your multi-level betrayal.

  • nice dimple

  • I actually would like to hear about the "boring health issues" because I'm sure she was full of shit when she said that.

  • Comment removed

  • Disgusting.

  • total fucking traitor to the animals...you're right.

  • What a joke.

  • Yeah, veganism is such a fad. It's sooo hard respecting the bodily autonomy of others! LOL, abandoning morals is SO FUNNEH. Um, no. Veganism is not about you, it was never about you, and this selfish attitude is exactly why you failed. So sorry you are soaked to your eyebrows in human privilege and cannot fathom that. Violating another sentient being for trivial reasons is not okay and should never be "normal." Animals are not objects.

  • I am cool with people deciding to be vegan or vegetarian...but don't force your fucking morals on other people. Jesus....

  • traitor to the animals.

  • One word. Adorable.

  • It's kinda funny the top comments talk about food & vocabulary instead of talking about how big her boobs are and some one want to squeeze the milk out of them ...etc. IRONIC !!

  • @heatfullrat

    cause their not?
